Cartoons have a ton of characters, and sometimes they just... disappear. No real in-universe explanation is given, and it's like they were never even there.

Rob from The Amazing World of Gumball. Originally, he was in the first few episodes of season one. However, he disappeared. Five seasons later, he was reintroduced and given a canonical explanation of his disappearance, which I thought was genius.

I think poof was growned up and now have his own godchild to take care off. there was a one episode where poof was assigned to ms. crocker (which we found out being a fairy god parent is a paid job as well). So it pretty obvious that poof is at work now. remember that in one old episode that fairy cannot tell who is the other godchild per da rules is unless if there a big situation like in one episode where crocker became a animal hybrid and cosmo and wanda just tell timmy where all the godchild located.

Vicky Figures out that Chloe is babysitting on Vicky's turf, which allows Vicky to come. I'll tell the other part later.

They really just removed Sparky from Fairly Odd Parents? That's so lazy and insulting! They couldn't even give him a send off episode or have him run away when Timmy goes to summer camp ... camp.... camp.... camp. I can't believe they removed him because people were complaining that they added a new and completely useless character, so that they fix the problem by doing the exact same thing again!

Alex the wolf I never really cared for him, and just feel he got in the show's way, but I do agree with you in that they shouldn't just have him absent. It's just kind of lazy to not at least give an in-show reason why he's gone. I wish they would say he went on to spread cheer and joy to children of the world elsewhere or something.

Alex the wolf ok let me rephrase what I said, I don't hate sparky the character I think he's cute and has a nice voice as well as an occasional funny moment. What i hate is that he has no purpose to be in the show, he doesn't add anything to the plot, all he does is take screen time away from the other characters. If sparky actually added something to the story and therefore had a purpose to be there a lot of people would probably like him.

I haven't watched The Amazing World of Gumball in years and I was DEVASTATED to read that my favorite character, Rachel Wilson, was erased out of existence just because Ben and the staff hate her, most likely for screaming at the kids in The Party. That's so lazy and sad! But characters like Felicity Parham, Margret Robinson and Rachel's terrible father Harold Wilson exist, who are all way worse than Rachel ever was. What really ticks me off is that the creators never tried to fix Rachel but literally just get rid of her, and ruined her relationship with Darwin. Rachel could've been an amazing character, but Ben didn't even try to fix her flaws. But despite Rachel's removal, 2nd to Foster's Home,Gumball's still my favorite CN show. It's been SIX years and Rachel Wilson deserves a BIG revival, she should have her own show, or at least miniseries, just something to make up for getting rid of her! Once I see her in something big, it'll make my whole year!

Seeing these characters don't have a in-universe explanation for disappearing, ill make up my thought's on what happened to them. Sparky magical dog: He died, my headcanon is that magical pet's die quickly, which is why the pet store had so many of them, customer replacements. Scrappy Doo: He wandered away from the rest of the group, consumed by his ego. Flats the flounder: He moved away, spongebob not being hurt by him was too much for his reputation. Bendy: Adopted by a kid more cruel then him, who needed someone to blame when he misbehaves. ;)

Flats doesn´t make much sence, once you watch that one episode of Spongebob in which he makes a cameo at the end. (that one where Spongebob and Patrick trigger Sandy insulting Texas) Unless that episode was done before he went to punch Spongebob, which wouldn´t make any sense, since, in the cameo I mentioned, you can see him smile, something way instesting for a character like him.

BATIM is basically FNAF (The horror side) and Undertale (The story and character side) mixed together (along with the fanbase), but somehow got neutralized into a less cringe-worthy fanbase than the two. So we're lucky that it isn't as toxic as the UT or FNAF fandom

You know what's really cool about Flats? He's voiced by Thomas F. Wilson, who was Bif, Griff, and Buford Tannen in the Back to the Future series. A lot of the major "tough-guy" characters on the show like The Tattletale Strangler, Reg (the Salty Spitoon bouncer), and of course, Flats, are voiced by him.

There was a character from the Mr. Men Show they removed from the second season named Miss Calamity, who was one of the original characters they created since it first started, and only appeared as a statue in the episode Trees. I ask Mark Risley why she was removed, and he said that the company that owned the books at the time, Chorion, disliked the character. I think it hurt the show a lot, as she was one of those female character that show that a flawed female character can get into trouble without a negative personality, as a lot of the other Little Misses, even those with negative traits don't really acknowledge the trouble they caused, unless you're a troublemaker like Miss Naughty. She does come back in some of the graphic novels by Viz, so at least the writers know she still exists.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc. was, in my opinion, the best Scooby-Doo series. I had a unique build up where first, the monsters would just be people in costumes with high tech, but near the end, the monsters were actually real. The time when everyone in town disapeared and the Scooby-Doo gang went into another timeline is probably the strangest part.

Yohan and Peewit in "The Smurfs", Sophia Tutu in "The Raccoons", Uter, Homer's half brother Herb and Homer's work associate Charlie from Simpsons, Lois' brother in Family Guy, in fact the greased up death guy, Ernie the Giant Chicken, Ollie Williams from the same franchise, Ahsoka Tano from her appearance in Star Wars Rebels, Scooby Dum in Scooby Doo, Dimmy Finster in "The Snorks", Akela and the Wolf Pack in the "Jungle Book" saga (we never hear reference or see any signs of them in "Jungle Book 2"), Feathers McGraw in "Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong Trousers" (he's since escaped in "A Matter of Loaf and Death")... There are literally LOADS or characters and cartoons you can go off of with this :)

django (i don't know how to write it) from phineas and ferb, he was supposed to be part of the crew with the brothers and Isabella but he only had one episode for presentation as the artistic one and lots as an extra, the funny thing is that he was supposed to be a character and disappeared from the show and Irving was supposed to be a just one appearance for the Phineas and Ferb musical toptastic and ended as part of the group
