Merci d'avoir partagé ce moment très beau... J'avais justement bien besoin ce soir d'entendre non pas des voix qui grondes, mais un chant, apaisant qui me réconcilie avec l'idée que tout n'est pas aussi moche... Il y a la musique et à travers elle, un chant universel, nul besoin de parler la même langue. Merci beaucoup :-)

I know this may sound unbelievable. I have been singing all my life, also guitar, write songs. Irish/English parents, but my ancestry describes me as Iberian....this lovely performer of their classic song! It goes right through me......Thank you so much, from (but not born in) Canada!

Absolument pas ! c'est un chant de Noël Catalan repris par Pau Casals. Ce chant est devenu par la suite un hymne à la liberté durant la guerre d'Espagne. Ce chant est toujours présent dans l'esprit des Catalan et des Espagnols....

@@philippemaury1689 vous avez certainement raison. Mais beaucoup de compositeurs ont utilisé un air populaire comme motif d'une oeuvre musicale. Mozart l'a beaucoup fait par exemple, sans qu'on lui refuse la paternité de l' oeuvre.

Chère Camille, le chant des oiseaux, ce n'est pas une chanson de Pau Casals, c'est une chanson populaire de Noël catalan et elle dit: quand je la vois se démarquer, la plus grande lumière, la nuit la plus heureuse, les petits oiseaux chantent, pour la célébrer aller avec sa voix melindrosa ...

a really cool piece well executed, but the bowhold and tension in the left hand are a bit concerning, fixing those will help you in the longterm

Perhaps it's just a matter of interpretation, but I prefer this without the frequent harshness, such as at 1:15 and 1:19. ( For comparison, Yo Yo Ma plays this beautiful piece with none of that harshness.)
