Fascinating. Incredible. Just right for me. Once she remembered the past event that associated a terrible feeling , with water , she overcome her inability to drink water. Lets take it the other way around , and project it on me: I treat woman with avoidance and disdain... There must be an event, in my past, that associated a terrible feeling , with woman... Remembrance... As a young child 5y.o , i was kidnapped forcibly by a teen girl, assaulted. The memory is incomplete and fractionalised. If i would remember it all, would i rid myself from avoidance and disdain towards woman?

You can try emdr therapy for this event, that’s a nice idea to unpack this traumatic event, even if it would be not about the disdain per se

@@yoramalon5273 no. I’m just in this kind of therapy myself and it is helping to unpack these kind of things very effectively. There’s some info about it on KZfaq too. I hope it was not an invading comment. Just genuinely felt compassionate to your traumatic experience which you vaguely remember. I wish you well and hope you can work through that if you ever make a decision to do so.
