You’re wrong though. We have the history right in front of us. It would be different if all we had to go on was stats, but we can go back & analyze the game play by play. The only way you can say “its a matter of opinion” is if you try to place weight on one aspect of the game over another. Jordan being 6 for 6 isn’t the only reason he’s the GOAT. Lebron being 3-6 isn’t the only reason he isn’t.

Why is it that Lebron always has his mistakes held over his head, but Jordan's always get brushed aside? We always hear about Lebron choking in 2011, but we never hear about how Jordan choked against a young Orlando team in 1995, got swept in 3 straight years by the Bucks and Celtics, get beat 3 straight times by the Pistons, and had terrible, inefficient games. That just gets glossed over. Jordan has this giant cult of personality about him where he never made a mistake or missed a shot and was always a winner. Lebron doesn't have that privilege and every missed step has makes gets scrutinized.
@Hikmat25bader
@Hikmat25bader 5 жыл бұрын
Not only for 2011, but the fact that he lost 6 of them, plus, don't say the bulls could have won that series, Jordan returned midway and wasn't himself (check the stats you ignorant fool), and didn't go around jumping from super team to another and tried to make a third (calling KD) LeBron has MANY more down moments then Jordan; Jordan has more MVP's, a DPOY, scoring titles... LeBron is a top 6 talent ever no question, but no one had a bigger meltdown then LeBron...

@itsmike5757
@itsmike5757 5 жыл бұрын
Jordan gets a pass for that for 4 reasons 1) he had come out of a year and a half retirement 2) the bulls in 95 after losing Horace became a .500 team before Jordan came back and got them to the playoff 3) people tend to care less when its not the finals 4) Jordan actually didn't have a bad series they show that same clip of the turnover but it's not a reflection of how he played the entire series

Nice video right there! People forgot that Jordan was also called a choker before 1991. But, why people are obsessed with GOAT? Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Bird, Magic, Jordan, Duncan, Malone, Lebron James, West, Oscar, Elgin Baylor... All of them had different roles, positions and dominated their era. Wilt Chamberlain was the most dominant player ever! But, barely nobody talked about these guys except Jordan & Lebron.

Ok let's do personal dominance. Jordan played 15 seasons (but did all of his damage in 13 seasons) and LeBron just finished his 15th season. Jordan won the most Finals MVPs with 6, LeBron has 3, Jordan has 5 MVPs, LeBron has 4, Jordan has the most scoring titles with 10, LeBron has 1, Jordan is 1 of 4 players with the most All Defensive First Team selections with 9, LeBron has 5, Jordan won DPOY, 3x steals leader, first player to record 200+ steals and 100+ blocked shots in a season only player to do it twice, LeBron never did any of this. Thing is Jordan did all of this in 13 seasons, LeBron is entering year 16 and still hasn't accomplished what Jordan in 13.

Overall MJ was a better basket ball player LeBron weakness is he to ball dominant he can't really catch-and-shoot he cant really shoot off the dribble and he doesn't post up enough at age 33 MJ was still a two-way player LeBron just kinda got a shot at age 33 because he relied on his athleticism for so long and it's hard for him to adjust to other systems if he's not the main ball handler

Imagine if Kobe in 2008 vs the Celtics had the same approach Lebron had in these past 2 finals against GS... People would never let Kobe hear the end of it but Lebron gets a pass.. They both only had 1 all star going against a team with 3+ all stars... Yes bronsexuals I know Boston isn't as good as GS but Boston was a nasty superteam and Kobe faced them with an injured squad and avoided getting swept. Kobe played the 2nd half of the season with a dislocated pinky knuckle and didn't make any excuse. Lebron blamed the 2018 L on his broken hand and for the last 2 years has been counting his own team out because KD is on the other side... Hell KD didn't count his own team out in 2012 when Lebron was dominating the league.. Cmon man Cut this goat shit out man

3 finals wins.. 1 was the first time a team has ever come back down 3-1 He averages a triple double in the finals Might have lost with some healthy rosters but but be real some of his teams were awful and he had to carry them to the finals let alone finals And has had to face the best team in nba history 4 times in a row Dropped an amazing 51 points in game one in finals game and his teammate ruined it. Then went off the score 25 points plus a night with a broken hand Also has never lost in first round like Jordan has never won without pippen
