I think most of the people don't understand this song. I've seen comments saying 'she's not a princess' and 'she's crying in the whole video when the song says the opposite.' Well, as described by the singer/songwriter (CARYS) herself, the song's title is meant to be ironic. Because everyone cries and no one should be treated as a princess. Princess here is a term used for a girl who is treated more like an object than a person: "I feel like the meaning of this song usually gets taken in the wrong context. I think we should have seen an episode about her psychology after abortion. I think that was what damaged her and the show didn't let us saw what happened. I don't think Nate was the motive here or Maddy. She completely changed and I don't think she knows who she is anymore. I mean season 1 Cassie wouldn't copy Maddy to be happy. And this character needed at least 1 episode about all those nudes, videos, shaming and abortion.

Maddy and Cassie are just basically the same person on different fonts. Same looks, same personality, same lifestyle, same problems. The difference between Maddy and Cassie is Maddy is much more open with her problems and cassie keeps everything to herself and just tries to cope with everything herself but always fails and just finds herself into another problem.

Sydney acting is incredible,what a emotional permormance .showing full range of emotions from joy to fear,sorrow,sadness.She was telling us that not is wrong if we cry ,if we are too emotional.It is important to experience painful exsperience and moving on ,than to hold them inside.We need to release this painfull emotions from time to time

I feel for her. I feel for her. She is just a teenager who already went through too much stuff. Her lovingly father turned into a drug addict and she never saw him again not knowing what happened to him, she had always been a sweet girl and her kindness was abused by other boys, her videos were on the internet and everywhere and her current boyfriend accused her of letting it be, he also tried to take advantage of her and the moment she seemed to be happy and peaceful in her relationship with McKay but then got pregnant and got an abortion. I think we don't talk about her abortion as much as we need to. Every human being is allowed to make mistakes but after going through all those things, it is fucking normal to sleep with your friend's ex. I'm not saying it's okay but not a reason to hate her. Maddy can hate her, we don't. Anyways, the reason why she's my fav character is that she is so relatable. Because in films and series every character has a spesific character development. Cassie doesn't have a character development like the others. She goes worse and worse. Everyone has some times in their lives that they think they're doing better but they just keep failing and failing in everything. After the stuff she had in her early life, it would be very optimistic to have her doing great and getting on well and not having a broken mentality. She's not a bad person but she's just broken.

We all go through the hard things and you will never fix the situation with just hate or bullying. We all have different lives and experiences. If somebody has trauma or mental illness you’ll only make things worse. You're not getting better hating on a “bad person”. I feel bad for all the people who committed suicide over bullying, it’s not your life, you’ll never know the whole situation. Becoming a mass of people who hate, no one feels responsibility because «everyone did so why I am not allowed». It’s your actions, you need to learn to be responsible for your words and actions.
