Casting an object in clear resin

On this episode of Bens Worx I make a wood and resin desk ornament using epoxy resin and burl. I left it to cure in the pressure pot and then turned it on the lathe, I polished it up with some Yorkshire grit on the buffing wheel.

Ben, love watching your videos. Mate can you do a video on the tools/equipment you use. I’m interested in doing something similar but not sure what essentials I’d need to start with to do the basics (type of resin, sandpaper, polishing compound) and then what extras like lathes, polishing machines, saws etc. Anything you could come up with would be awesome. 👍👍👍

If only my garage had such tools. I do have half a barrel of left over resin from a chembuster project (they don't work - and the crystals and expensive too). Maybe I will dig it out and try something.
