It looks ok but like you said, for a bit more the Active ve52 just offers a lot more. I personally like the smaller more compact pressure washers. The extra plastic/fluff is probably there to fool the average consumer into thinking there's a lot going on inside and worth their money.

I agree with you here. I know some of the taller design is to allow the use of the handle and wheels, but I would rather carry my pressure washer. VE52 is only $225 now so it’s too close to not buy it.

Hydraulic power or power of the pressure washer is pressure in bar times flow rate in liters/min equals output power in kW. The power of this Cat machine is 69 bar x 5.7 liters/min = 393W. Motor output at 12.8A and 80% efficiency 1.2kW. Complete efficiency is 393W / 1.2kW or 32%. Many people evaluate a pressure washer just from PSI which is irrelevant without flow. It’s excellent you are measuring the flow and amps. It’s exactly how pumps are measured. In this case, pressure washers can be evaluated and compared using hydraulic power and overall efficiency. Maybe the machines can be entered in a table for the washers you already evaluated and add more machines as you review them for ranking and comparing.

I may upgrade my pressure washer at some point, but this one is isn't dissimilar to what I have. Where I did buy the upgrades for the quick disconnects, hose and pressure gun. The fan pattern on the stock nozzle would bug me more than the hose. But like you said, retail out the box and the results, not bad. That's initially why I bought my pressure washer. Now I've done more upgrades just to wash vehicles. Pretty crazy. I saw the ridge washer video, might look into those nozzle guards. Thanks for the content as always.

Now that you have the upgrades when you need a new one you can get one with no accessories and save a few dollars. Horizontal spray angle was a big miss.

You read my mind, that's exactly my plan. I did hope I would win the giveaway, but I may give my friend the one I have to use around their home. Keep the upgraded items. Though I may still upgrade the pressure washer gun and foam cannon so I can give that as well. So these reviews really do speak to me. Thanks again.

Build a custom power washer cart like I did. I watched what Keav did and pretty much copied it using all the components I wants to use. It came out awesome and I love it.

Appreciate the info. I saw the cart videos and updates to them. My only problem is that I live in the city and don't have space. I'm hoping that will change and when I upgrade I can consider the cart option as well. The car products alone would be a great way to organize them as well.

Thailand, it’s a new facility owned and operated by Active. This is the first product to be made there.

@@hartlanddetailer5670 Very true even a lot of MTM’s products are made in china mostly the lower priced ones. Active VE and 2.0 are made there as well.
