@@essafats5728 First part of your question is not clear to me, but In 2006 the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said: "Peter's confession is the rock." It didn't mean much at that time. But just a few years ago I learned that the whole cult of Rome scheme is dependent on that misunderstanding.

@@essafats5728 Yes, I am certain. I had more than a few very significant revelations at around that same time. About a year before that I had been at low point in my life and many seeds of the Gospel, that were sown when i was a child, had started taking root. I was stuck at my older sister's (non Catholic) house and she was placing gospel tracks in my room, etc... One of the tracks had a verse 2 Peter 3:9 "the Lord is.... not willing that any should perish". One day that verse just was stuck in my head playing over and over. Finally I had prayed to God : "If it's Your will that none should perish then do your will [with me]." Many things happened but few months later I had got truck, got a house to rent, got a job and I started reading bible every day. One day I was going down the road and from the corner of my eye I saw a girl in a bikini, but i didnt turn my head and look. So right then I got shocked and I just prayed to God and said "what happened to me?" and He said "you asked Me to do My will." So I told God "If that is what you have done [to set me free from lust] I am going to ask You to do your will [with me] every day. I told that to story to many, many church people and only less than 5 told me they would pray for God to do His will with their life.

Reminder, we don't have the cornerstone on conversions - all of our journeys are uniquely ours. Sad, you calling the cult of Rome - that is so un-christian uncharitable. Was Jesus a liar for having the Catholic Church (standing for 2000yrs and for a very long time before you were born) about building His Church on Peter in his totality, and not only just on Peter's confession; the gates of Hades will not prevail. Ever think you have the misunderstanding of what Jesus meant? Without the Catholic Church, the rest of Christianity (with its major disunity, constant fracturing, splintering, fragmenting, contradictory beliefs and doctrines among themselves) will quickly fall to secularism / modernism / atheism / Islam.

I was blessed that I was able to leave the catholic cult at age 14 without any dispute from my dad. When I was 26 my dad asked me to go meet a priest and I did it out of respect for him but it was unremarkable. Around a year later I read in the newspaper that the same priest had been arrested for child porn.
