Dear Samuel John the lyrics shown as video is a pdf file which was created at the time of creating the song...But at the time of composing a slight changes in words were made to adjust with the tune without make a change in meaning....in case of dhara the change was made as the word saba was repeating..... and thiru dhara means holy land in which our church is existing ......

I congragulate Thomas achen and Bijibal.....the lyrics and music are superb.... While listening to the song, it hears to be VEDHATHIN & THIRUDHARAYE, instead of original lyrics posted. And the word "dhara" does not fit into that sentence and gives awkward meaning. It is thiru sabha. The recitation is wrong w.r.t to these two words. But what is shown as subtitle in the video is right. Also mizhi neer kanamodum", it is recited as "kanamakum". plz rectify it soon bfor centenary celebs..

Dear Nithin thanks again for the reply, "thiru dhara" is fine as u clarified:). but i hope the meanings dont get completely changed as in the first line(vedangal).....the lyrics of Fr. Thomas P Mukalil in this one are absolutely brilliant and very meaningul, explains our tradition well, plz dnt change it. This song is going to be a big hit and recited in many churches and events, you guys did a great job. So plz let it be one version. God bless everyone who worked for our centenary...

ok thanks for the clarification..... what about "vedathin" ? it should be "vedangal". Because the reference is to "bharatha bhoovu"...the reference is obviously to the 4 vedas- rig sama yajur and atharva. Can we change the meanings of the lyrics completely to adjust the tune? When i posted this in facebook, a few people had queried on these...mostly people who are part of church choir groups, because they are planning to sing this song elsewhere as they like it...
