I think Dr. Pitre mispoke in 4:25. He said "three distinct persons of the Holy Spirit."

This verse is one of the clearest references to the Trinity in the Bible. Another is the last verse of Matthew's Gospel.

If denying the Holy Spirit is unforgivable, it is obviously divine, so I'm not sure how they came to that conclusion.

I have no issues with the Godhead, that there are three persons in the Godhead and that each person is a separate being. My issue is the trinity doctrine, who taught in scriptures that these three persons are one substance/essence/being, they one in unity of purpose and scriptures teach that, but they do not teach they are one being.

How is catholic different from oriental orthodoxy.

God is all knowing. Before God created, when only God existed, what was there to know? Don’t tell me God knew the future of everything. God is a logical God. Nothing has no future. To say God can do anything, can God make a rock so big He can’t lift it? That has no answer because it’s not logical. To say God knows to future of nothing is illogical. At creation, THEN God knew the future of everything. So, getting back to before creation, what did God know? God knew Himself. God is infinite perfection. God’s knowledge of Himself can not be any less perfect than the source of that knowledge. The knowledge of God IS God. Jesus is the image of God. God is all loving. When we love someone we say we give ourselves completely to that person. God’s love between the Father and the Son cannot be any less perfect than the source of that love. The Love of God, IS God. The Holy Spirit. Love is an innate quality of God that is not dependent upon His creation. There you have it. God is a Spirit of Knowledge and Love. A unity of three divine persons not coming together but emanating from one divine Being. A tri-unity. A trinity. Deuteronomy 6:4. The Lord our God. The Lord is one. The word for one is echad. That’s the same word used in Gen 2:24 where Adam and Eve shall become one flesh. A unity.

If Paul believed the 'trinity' was so essential, why did he never begin all his epistles with any mention of it? Just check chapter 1 verse 3 or 2 of them all and Paul states " Blessed be the GOD AND FATHER of our Lord jesus Christ" Paul taught & believed that The father was supreme and over all, he said "There is ONE GOD out of whom ALL THINGS ARE" ( 1 Cor 8:6) Also "The head of the Christ is GOD". ( 1 Cor 11:3) & "The Son will subject himself ( To God)" ( 1 Cor 15:28 ). read it in the catholic bible!

Science best explains it. God is the same as energy. Energy exists in different states but is always energy. Potential energy + kinetic energy = mechanical motion. So... Potential energy is Gods WILL outside of time and existence in a place we can never reach (god). Kinetic energy is God in motion interacting with the universe in time and the existence we live because this kinetic energy is inside every part of his living moving creation including our life essence (holy spirit). And the mechanical motion of god's will in our life is (jesus). Jesus was the ultimate move on god's part to make lasting action on our FREE will. Sure god can do everything but is unattainable and it's only our FREE WILL that enables us to reach him. How you say? Jesus - God made flesh. Without God made flesh as man there was no way we could have a personal relationship and comprehend God. Without Jesus God is distant and impossible to comprehend. As man god met us on our level and had impact that was tangible and far reaching creating a way we can reach god in the afterlife. Focus on a comprehendible God (Jesus) and he will shepherd you to the unattainable realm of God outside of existence as the holy spirit leaves you in your last days. Because rearrange the equation and you have: God =Jesus - holy spirit So focus on Jesus as the holy spirit leaves you and you will reach God (God the father). Science!

The New Catholic admits: "The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is NOT taught in the Old Testament or New" Do those verses say that God, Christ, and the holy spirit constitute a Trinitarian Godhead, that the three are equal in substance, power, and eternity? No they do not! No more than listing three people such as Tom, Dick, and Harry, means that they are three in one!

How weird! Is that the same Paul who said in 1Ti 2:5 “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” Paul doesn’t sound like a good trinitarian at all. Who’s lying and why would they lie? Are you worshipping a false 3 in one God? Do they know they create a false god with their doctrine? Yes, if they’re as smart as they think they are. The Trinity doctrine contradicts Jesus. On the question of the trinity John contradicts Jesus. John contradicts John in his own Gospel. Paul contradicts Jesus and Paul contradicts himself on the question of the trinity. It’s apparent to anyone with a brain it’s the doctrine itself that causes the confusion. Confusion is not of The Father or Jesus. The trinity doctrine is of man and as one would expect it is the essence of biblical confusion. Dispose of its poison and read Jesus’s words for yourself. Never mind the mountain of minutiae one can misconstrue and misinterpret in the Bible. Only Jesus’s words hold the highest authority. Only His words were promised to outlast heaven and earth. Mat 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33. This fact, this promise, may prove to be The Finest Miracle. “Outlast”means for the past 2000 years through all the many evil or well intentioned translations Only Jesus’s words remain as He intended! The trinity doctrine is the con that keeps on giving. It brings confusion and contradiction to the bible so the masses will need these clever custodians of the obscure, these privileged interpreters of unintelligible mystery to explain it. Yet mysteriously it just gets more mysterious! Just trust us and deepen your faith they say. Thats nice but that is not how you build a relationship with Jesus. He knows what you believe. He will say Mat 7:23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ In case you forgot the main law since the beginning of time is God is One. Today’s Pharisees have made themselves the irrevocable conduit to God and a higher authority than Jesus Himself. The trinity doctrine Reeks of the Pharisees fatal flaw! Religion hasn’t changed its stripes. Its the same business Jesus kicked out of His Father’s house. Humans don’t change. Corruption is their game. That’s why everything Jesus taught is relatable today and for all time.

Sir Isaac Newton believed the Roman Catholic Church was misguided in its interpretation of Christianity, and had returned to idolatry. *Newton felt that belief in the holy trinity was a flagrant violation of the First of the Ten Commandments.* Dr. Thomas G. Barnes, in his book "Science and Biblical Faith," 1993, (distributed by CRS Books) has two chapters on Newton. He says, on p. 44, "Newton was perhaps the greatest biblical scholar of his age." Barnes explains, In 1669 Newton became Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Trinity College, Cambridge, one of the most honored professorships in the scientific world.

Paul baptized " In the name of Jesus Christ. " Never in the catholic created trinity.

More disregard of the Word of God by Pitre. Jesus clearly said " I and the Father are One." No confusion exists except in catholics who are unfamiliar with the Holy Spirit and therefore are unable to know God. There are not any persons for God is Spirit. The catholic gospel is not the one preached by Paul. In Galations 1:8 Paul said " If anyone preaches another gospel other than the one we have preached to you, let him be accursed." Paul is calling Pitre accursed. Those who preach catholic doctrine are accursed according to Paul. I agree with Paul.

Sorry, Jesus isn’t God, nor equal to God. He called our God and Father his God and Father at John 20:17.

"Baptize them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." They are three divine NAMES, not three divine PERSONS! No trinity exists! Who are they? 1. the FATHER : " so that they may behold that glory of mine, which you have given to me, for you loved me BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. 25"O righteous Father, indeed THE WORLD HAS NOT KNOWN YOU, but I HAVE KNOWN you, and these have known that you sent me." The Father is NOT here, He was NEVER here, the world did NOT KNOW Him at all! He still is absent, indeed Jesus HAS KNOWN HIM (i.e. in the past). This is why "No man HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME." INVISIBILITY is not the real reason, the actual reason is that GOD (i.e. the Father) IS ABSENT! 2. the SON: He is the Son, the ONLY KING of heaven...(to be continued) 3. the HOLY SPIRIT: you see in 1. that the Father IS ABSENT. However - even if personally missing - God is able to be here IN THE FORM OF A SPIRIT. This means that you have a GOD'S PRESENCE here, He is PRESENT here with his feelings, his words, his actions, but actually NOBODY IS HERE. He is the "SPIRIT OF GOD" ( "God is a spirit" Jn. 4:23,24). The "Spirit of God" is synonymous with "Holy Spirit" (see Mt. 3:16). In other words, Jesus has a "FATHER who is a SPIRIT" and calls Him sometimes "Holy Father", sometimes "Holy Spirit" according to circumstances. Thus, Jesus never says He is "with 1. the Father AND WITH 2. the Holy Spirit" because they are just TWO EQUIVALENT NAMES for the SAME ONE SPIRIT. Jesus doesn't even know what a triune God is.

Another misrepresentation of Paul by Pitre. Paul never mentioned " the trinity." He always baptized " In the name of Jesus Christ," never in the catholic invention called the trinity. Spouting catholic propaganda is not truth. Note that Pitre always quotes the men of catholicism rejecting the words of Jesus and the original Apostles. His witnesses never met Jesus nor received the Holy Spirit as commanded by Peter. Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ was and always will be the only effective method of baptism.

More dishonesty from the catholic church. Paul never baptized in any other way than in the name of Jesus Christ. The trinity was invented by catholics in 381 AD. When the disciples of John the Baptist came to Paul and he asked how were they baptized ? He immediately baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ for he knew that any other baptism was ineffective for salvation. No one who walked with Jesus ever spoke of the apostate term " trinity."

Anyone who reads the bible will know that worldly scholars would never be able to grasp the truth. These just use rhetorics and high blown language to show their in-depth 'knowledge'. The gullible fall for it. These videos take us everywhere but get us nowhere. Matthew 11:25 'At that time Jesus said in response: "I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have HIDDEN these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have REVEALED them to young children." Meaning meek hearted ones. Read the bible. If you are meek hearted the truth will become apparent.
