I heard from a dermatologist that it’s difficult for peptides to penetrate so she advised to use the day after a routine where you’d use an aha, or directly after using an aha cleanser. And then cap it off with hyaluronic acid serum as i was told that it may assist with penetration of products. So the way i do it is i use an aha cleanser, then apply copper peptides on to damp skin, let it absorb then niacinamide, kinda let them absorb for about 2min, then a hydrating spray, hyaluronic acid, then seal it with a moisturizer. The chizu saeki method uses thin layers of cotton pads soaked with hyaluronic acid, but it’s wasteful so it makes sense to just “seal” with an occlusive moisturizer (good ol cerave). 😆 not sure whether it’s evidence based or not, but i’m loving this routine.

For some reason I dont see results from the buffet but I love the matrixyl 10 % + ha..my forehead lines have gotten better with this and my face seems smoother but of course that's just my opinion and I never have tried the buffet with copper peptides yet..thx for your great video.

You can buy copper tetrapeptides and tripeptides and add them in for cheaper than buying the buffet + copper peptides. You can buy the buffet serum for less expensive from elsewhere (cos de baha, etc.) and add in your own peptides into the bottle and mix. Less than half the price.

Hi Cathy, on a different site, someone said the Medik8 Peptides serum is better than The Ordinary with CP product. Have you looked at the Medik8 product? Is it possible you might be interested in doing a comparison? Can I clarify, when you say you can use peptides with retinoids but not at the same time, do you mean leave a bit of time between applying OR apply one in the morning and one at night or on a different day? I'm kind of confused why you're saying that you can't introduce peptides and retinoids at the same time (13:15). Peptides don't cause any irritation. So I'm not sure what you mean by that? Mixing them in the same routine and introducing one or the other at the same time won't pose any issues.
