Im just confused as to why the ordinary buffer with copper peptides is more than twice the price of the normal buffet serum, when the added benefit is just the copper 1%

Great content, I am going to have to watch this a couple of times toglean more about this product. I'm one of those 'mature' skin people. You mentioned using in the evening on cleansed skin before retinols, should matrixyl be applied before retin-A as well? Thank you for a wonderfully in-depth and informative video! I’m 30 and have started using this. It has been about 2 weeks and I already see my skin looks more hydrated and less irritated! If I have not yet seen loss of elasticity, could we still use this as a preventative measure or would it then render itself “too weak” after years of use once we start seeing the loss of elasticity? Oh and does this reduce hyperpigmentation or scarring at all? Thank you for a wonderful channel, you have gained another subscriber! 🎉

I belong to the "mature skin group", 😄😄😄, and I love this product. I use it in the morning mixed-up with the argieline solution and my skin has improved, A LOT. I can't incorporate it at night because I use as well tretionin and i think is tooooo much all together.

Haha the dreaded 'mature skin' tag.. I hate the term but I love the buffet with copper lol.. I think your right to be cautious using it alongside tret as some people can find it to be too much.. I think of all the products I have used this is the one which has changed my skin the most and I love it xx

I've tried both The Ordinary Buffet + Copper and NIOD CAIS and I have to say CAIS was the clear winner for me. I was religious with Buffet + Copper for months until a friend gave me a full bottle of CAIS and within the first two weeks I was already seeing greater improvements!

Thanks for another great review of a product I've been very curious about. I haven't tried it yet, but will probably get the CAIS when/if it goes on sale in November (hoping they have another anti-Black-Friday sale again like they did last year). I wasn't into skin care last year, so I'm not sure if all products were on sales or just select ... so keeping my fingers crossed. I've spent so much on skin care in the last few months it's embarrassing ... gotta force myself to wait for a good sale before buying any more. Because of you, I also have Survival on my list of hopeful November sale purchases! :)

Adore this product! My skin can't handle using a retinoid and the copper buffet on the same night, so I alternate nights. My skin looks better than when I was only using the retinoid at night.

Have you purchased the NIOD CAIS3 lately? I’m reading a lot of recent reviews I have buyers who receive half empty bottles. This seems to be a relatively new thing; one reviewer stated they’ve been purchasing for the last three years and only noticed the half empty bottles beginning October 2023. Apparently, Deciem posted some kind of reply justifying this by saying the bottle is too big but that certainly doesn’t explain why the bottle size hasn’t changed but they’re only filling them halfway now. Was curious if this is happened to you. Thanks for letting me know.

Thank you for the review. I am 57, and have not been using makeup or skincare for decades. The Ordinary products seemed like a no brainer to me, although one does have to figure out where and when, and it's a crap shoot really. You have to figure out what you don't like about your skin, and how you'd like to improve it. You have to figure out what you can and cannot tolerate (an Elf moisturizer gave me a rash!) and then you have to figure out when to use it. I started slow with this product, because I am afraid it might be a little harsh. I only use it 2 - 3 times a week, and I use the matrixyl every day. I do like the idea of the products, we will see how they measure up after a few months...or perhaps years of use. Cheers!

I will be 28 next month and just started my dive into the ordinary! I purchased this Copper peptides, ascorbyl glucoside, and the niacinamide. I just use it in the AM because I use Adapalene in the evening and benzoyl peroxide. Can it be used in the same routine with Adapalene? What bout BP? I've just started researching copper peptides, and another influencer I follow and love (Penny Smith), did a review on them as well. She said that CP should't be used in the same routine as VIt C or Vit A. Like Rob, she suggests vitamin C in the morning, and then both Vit A and CP in the evening ... but using them on alternating nights. He does say that he uses it with his retinol in the evening. I have been advised to let you wait 10 minutes to let the serum to sink in before you apply your retinol 😊

Hey hun thank you so much for watching... I think there is certainly a lot of benefit to moving to the NIOD one if you can afford it as the delivery mechanism means more of the peptides get to where they need to be to deliver benefit so you see great results... I hope this helps xxx

Hey hun thank you for watching and thats a great question.. If I had to choose I would go for the buffet with copper peptides.. I love both but the buffet has a higher concentration of copper peptides and so it works better for anti ageing and the subq is amazing as a skin brightener as well as hydrator but will also help with anti ageing too.. Hi Rob, i think you have mentioned on one of your video about how to layer products, but can you recomend this TO buffer copper with the inkey list retinol with HA in between? Or can directly or better to have it in any other day?

Hey hun thank you so so much for watching and thats a great question.. I would use the buffet first then the HA and then the retinol leaving about a minute between each step for absorbtion.. That way you will get all the benefits of the products without them interacting.. I hope this helps xx
