Yeah, that’s not really my style either. The natural pops created from the exhaust is good enough for me - I don’t need to tune them in.

The mid section with the velocity box definitely made a difference! I now have the full race system which is just insane but the set up in this video is good enough for most people.

@@youssefbelghiti7537 Unfortunately I don't have any pics highlighting the internals of the velocity box. Next best thing could be to reach out to GT Haus and act like you're interested in purchasing the mid pipe and get detailed info from them about it.

@@FJF2007 rn I have comp mufflers with valves tack welded open, and resonator delete with a straight pipe inserted. I plan to do Evolve catless downpipes with stage 2 Evolve tune and call it a day probably. Might buy Meisterschaft next year

Thanks! So you're correct - my Megan axle back is welded to the factory competition axle back pipe. The Meistershaft system is then connected to that remaining factory axle back pipe via a reducer. That way the 90 and 80mm exhaust can have a rather smooth transition.

Thanks for the reply! So a 90 to 80mm reducer, and that didn’t come with the mids I assume... I have Dinan cans on now, but I think what I’m missing is the mid section to wake it up. Still debating on the down pipes as I don’t want to mess with all the emissions stuff.

@@GeorgeAtiyeh The reducer actually did come from GT Haus. They were aware of the set up I was trying to accomplish so that was actually their idea and it worked perfectly. Downpipes, especially catless, is where you'll get the biggest increase in sound. But if you have emissions where you live it could be a pain to deal with, in which case Dinan + a mid-pipe of some sort might be your answer.

@@FJF2007 im actually getting GTHaus 90mm downpipes and same LXR midpipe installed as we speak. but for right now, i decided to keep the factory rear section. im assuming theyre using a reducer as well to connect the mid pipe to the rear section? they didnt tell me, they just said dont worry it will work and will connect to it. im getting it done in house here in the Chicago location. i want to get the megan or turner motorsport axle back to connect now that i hear this setup so just wondering if it will be easy, in my brain it should be. just cut a little bit further than their weld and weld the new axle back on

Correct, the Meisterschaft mid section was done last. The volume did increase some, but mainly the tone was changed. After 4krpm it has a higher pitch, slightly more exotic imo, which is what I was shooting for. My friend thought it was a whole new system. I’m completely happy w my decision. And to add, it’s slightly faster given my previous 60-130’s in similar conditions.

@@zhaoyangxie Haha yea no concerns with that with this set up. The only way to really introduce drone on these cars is if I were to remove my mufflers alongside my current set up.

I had Megan racing a couple years prior. Wanted more sound eventually so added the Meisterschaft mid section.

@@FJF2007 is Megan racing any good? The clips I’ve heard are really raspy on some of these cars. Yours sounds pretty good but it’s hard not to with the m6 engine.

@@Dnasty1 Definitely wasn’t raspy on my m6. I think it’s a solid set up for anyone looking for good sound but not over the top loud. I now have another m6 w/ another exhaust. Check my other videos if interested.

I now have the full Meisterschaft SGT (track system) it’s a lot louder and a lot more high pitch. I’m going to get some decent footage of it within the next month.

I never heard the Eisenmann race in person so I can't say for sure...probably just a matter of tone difference I'd guess.

The car is really never at those RPM's long enough for me to hear the drone, or at least for it to be something I notice and be bothered by. You more so hear the characteristics of the exhaust.

You hear the exhaust, but I definitely wouldn’t label it as drone. Makes the car feel more engaging if anything.

@@youngkobe9905 Yeah you’d have no problem on long drives..put it in efficient mode, cruise in 7th gear and you’d be fine. For the exhaust set up you’d be around $6,500. This includes a stage 2 tune as you’d want that running catless DPs. Labor for the exhaust is included in that price as well.
