Clorox Bleach, kind of, they have suits on that make up like half of the cat like appearance, while the other half is shed and blended in with CGI. Which is partly why it looks strange.

Thom Cole Where did u get that info? 95 mil spent that’s correct but the box office is $10mil and will not earn more because it’s going out of theaters soon and won’t get many blu-ray sales not enough to make up for the 95 mil budget.... I know people are creeped out by the cgi but I dont understand why, CATS as a play had costumes almost like this for like 20 years and everyone praised it. This is just a cgi update to those costumes. I think it looks great

Brunette From Cali I’m acutely award of that. I’m basing my opinion and observations on the trailer at hand which is unequivocally horrible! Is there a chance it turns out to be good? Sure. I guess anything is possible. But you yourself have already addressed the elephant in the room.....the unmistakably god awful and creepy cgi. It’ll be hard to see the good when something so bad is front and center.

As a musical theatre nerd, I must say that I never cared for this show. Personally, I don't see why it is so popular and lasted on Broadway as long as it has. Overrated garbage, if you ask me. Andrew Lloyd Webber had to be huffing glue when he came up with this one. An ex-girlfriend of mine once had me watch it because it was her favorite musical- a choice I would soon regret. I couldn't stand it. Musically speaking, it had a few interesting moments, but not many. (If I have to hear "Memory" one more time, someone is going to get hurt.) There is no plot, or real story behind it. No character development, or even a single character that I could remotely bring myself to care about. Why anyone likes any iteration of this dumpster fire is beyond me. This movie is basically another desperate Hollywood cash grab, carried solely on the weight of big name celebrities and a well known property. There will likely be no survivors. I won't be surprised if this movie is a career killer. I could be wrong, but we'll see. (Well, someone else will see, because I can't bring myself to be subjected to this abomination...much less waste perfectly good money on it.)
