Colors cannot be copyrighted, but they *can* be trademarked. This means The Coca-Cola Company can't sue you for using "Coke Red" in a drawing of an original character, but they *can* sue you for using "Coke Red" in the labels and branding of a competing cola-flavored soda. Similarly, artists cannot make you pay for using "their colors" unless you're directly imitating their art in other significant ways. (disclaimer: I am not a legal expert, this is what I gathered from a few Google searches)

For me, it's more like, "Oh, she's already resolved that trauma? Then once again, from the top, it's TRAUMA TIME!" "Oh, what if instead of following Tola to Earth, Princess stayed on Terra, and so it takes ten years for Tola to figure out how to get back, and in this time she's gone mad with grief and thinks he's dead and/or hates her all this time? She'd be practically non-verbal from living as a hermit for most of ten years, and when he finally does make it back, she just assumes he's a figment of her imagination, her shattered mind imagining him hanging around and telling her how worthless and terrible she is all the time." "What if Flopsy gets pulled into the EGS universe and thinks her phone not working is because Ben's upset with her and has given up on her? 2:28 reminds me of when I used to work at Panera, and a lovely elderly couple came to my register to order a “diet soda” and a “diet orange scone”, giggling like school children. I asked if they wanted any diet napkins with that, to which they were delighted. That Panera closed down - they decided to stop doing delivery right before Covid hit. I still think about that sweet old couple… I hope they still go to other Paneras for that diet orange scone.

The OCs in AUs is awesome because, and I’ll use my OC as the example,: In one au, they got therapy In the other, they destroy the world because they didn’t get therapy BUT IN BOTH! They got a girlfriend from an antimatter-like world who is the absolute sweetest peach and they can only hold hands on earth.

The AU thing has become my main source of brainrot as of late. Once I found out Rango and Kung Fu Panda are the same movie on principle, I went and put my OCs in a western story and a martial arts story in that order. And yes, they're animals now, for precisely the same reason.

2:20 I can understand this sentiment. Growing up in Europe, you've been inundated with the cultural artifacts of American mainstream culture your whole life. Everything they do and eat is sorta-kinda something you are familiar with, but absolutely different in a million minute and visible ways. Especially growing up in the less economically fortunate parts, you can totally start idolizing these cultural artifacts that are forever present in your life, yet out off reach behind the screen. As a German who has visited the USA and parts of Asia, I gotta say: American cooking ain't shit, for the most part. And the stuff that's actually good is like 5000kcal a serving, or some ungodly, chemical-laden monstrosity that's illegal in most civilized nations. Going to the places Americans were strangely proud of and finding their stuff unimpressive, has been eye-opening. That is not to say you don't get shit food this side of the pond, either. But you don't get the hopeless food deserts and the regulations are tighter, forcing companies to use better base ingredients. You know, like actual sugar, less additives and so on.

2:53 thinks about one of my OCs that actually does have at least one "canon" story and two AUs where in "canon" they are a backup body for a canon villain who's been killed off at the end of her debut game, but said OCs ended up befriending the canon MC and developing separate personality to the point that MC had to fight them to save them from being possessed by aforementioned villain, and the OC still thinks of the now permanently deceased villain as their mother that MAYBE would love them if given the chance in one AU said villain never dies and actually goes through a reformation-via-friendship (that worked on many other villains in the series as well), and creates that OC a bit later and actually treats them as her child, living as a happy family of two in another AU the canon MC fails to save the OC, resulting in the villain successfully taking over the body, morphing it into monstrosity that HAS to be put down, killing both the villain and the OC at the same time. you will never guess the canon for these scenarios.

So fun fact, there is a rare medical condition in which a human's gut can act as a fermentation tank, it's something involving bacteria in your gut if I'm recalling correctly. But either way what happens is is if you eat enough carbs it gets broken down instead of simple sugars into alcohol. So in theory yes you can get drunk off bread.

Animals in nature eat other animals in nature, all the time, inconsequentially. Sometimes their diets need meat, other times they just can eat meat and choose to do so. I’m against factory farming and want better conditions for animals, but any group that tries to literally FORCE people to never eat meat, is fascist. Plain and simple.

People seem to forget the fact that most zeldas are super fucked up cause it usually has a nice happy vibe. Most of them are some sort of apocalypse scenario, and link is a child in like half of the games. In twilight princess, there was literally a zone of bad appearing randomly that was trapping people's souls in some sort of purgatory and to fix it you literally ran around collecting tears to fix it. Or the fucking dead robots stuck in time bubbles that don't realize they're dead. Or wind waker, where the vast majority of an entire kingdom just up and died as a direct result of your actions. In skyward sword, the human/psudoelf hylians were almost wiped out by fucking demons, and their patron goddess used her power to save the last few by raising ul sky islands for them to live on. That goddess is also basically dead. In botw/totk the apocalypse already happened, and the only survivors are a handful of remote villages. On that note is also frustrates me knowing that a princess was missing for a century, and the second she reappears everybody just accepts monarchy again loke its the most natural thing. Why would anybody still give a shit about the royal family? Clearly whatever form of goverment they've been using is working out fine.
