@@haralaboslukatos6734 I have the EU version Seven Fifty and I think it's an awesome bike. I got mine for 1100€. Before that I had an Honda NTV 650 (Honda NT 650 HAWK) and it was a good beginners bike for 600€ I paid for it. Then I wanted something that didn't look late 80's so I bought a Seven Fifty which is just a really good bike which requires low maintenance (hydraulic tappets) so no need to check tappet clearances which was a pain on the front cylinder on the NTV.

@@jeffrygagnon5506 ah, I'm much lighter than I used to be at around 145 pounds compared to 160 but there too speed on the 99s was said to be 127 with a professional rider. But some of the night Hawks later on probably put more power to the wheels. When I get mine tuned good and running great again I'll test it out and see what I get. I think the gearing in the Nighthawks isn't the best for top speed but for acceleration they are amazing but my friends 81 gsx750 weights over 100 pounds more and makes 80 HP and 35 pound feet of tourqe but it's geared great for top speed and he has done 125 and it'll run from the factory at the same quarter mile time.

Great choice. I've had both, each has its advantages. Nighthawk CB650SC is technologically advanced over the US spec CB750 Nighthawk. Double disc front brakes, hydraulic clutch. wide range 6 speed transmission, shaft drive, gear indicator, fuel gauge, more compact for smaller riders, arguably better sounding. Don't get me wrong, the CB750 Nighthawk is an amazing parts bin type bike, it holds its own. But most of all, I wish the 750 NH had a wide range 6 speed transmission.

sorry for the late reply sir, the washer mod page has been taken down. it was recommended to add #4 size stainless steel washers from Radioshack under each main jet needle. It would be a cheap fix for tuning out aftermarket exhausts... at least for the low and mid range rpms.. If you could afford it. just get the aftermarket 1st stage jetting kits on Ebay. My country is just too strict on illegal aftermarket exhausts... mine is as quiet as a whisper. Stock. Anyways. read that with the washer mod and aftermarket pipes. the nighthawk would pull power wheelies in 2nd gear.

And also the 90s nighthawks weight much less than the 80s, the early 70s weight the same at around 460 pounds but then mid 70s they shot up to 570 pounds and kn the 90s they cut some weight of of them.

Well i have new news...I took out the inserts in the mufflers and quess what ? it sounds just like this bike here...im in shock to how good it sounds ...I don.t know if its because i have a 1997 or what ...I called every Honda dealer there is and 80% said the bike will run fine WITH OUT a rejet kit... Everybody said after 100 miles to check the plugs to make sure they are not white as to burning to lean..After 500 miles and loving the sound i put the inserts/baffles back in because i lost 40% of power...unlike most bikes my pipes are not wide open with the baffles out..The baffle holes are only the size of your thumb there fore you still have plently of back pressure.. Even with a rejet kit i will gain horse power BUT lose Torque ..So nothing you do will be as fast as the factory pipes with baffles.. im loving the speed so i quess they stay in...You really can.t hang on the bike when cracking 2nd gear coming out of 1st ...Maybe its a 1997 special ? Maybe i got a good one ? But it will take at least a 900 cc rocket or more to out run me.. i.ll find out ..All i know is this night hawk i have fly's...
@urbandualsport7 жыл бұрын
no. even a modern 600 cc sport bike will chew up a nighthawk and spit it out i had a cb599 that would beat its acceleration and top speed in 3rd gear. not that the night hawk is not fast but its not that fast.
@cliffmccauslin74217 жыл бұрын
Well John i out run a older 600cc ninja already.. With each gear i just kept pulling away by alot...We started as a roll off in 1st so the driver had nothing to do with it...Maybe my 97 is built ? it does idel rough and that would be a high lift cam in a car..it doesn.t smooth out until 3k rpm..I ran a 1991 ZR-11 Kaw but only 1st and 2nd and had to let off in 3rd..We stayed side by side BUT you could tell he was about to leave me.. Anybody ever had a night hawk that you can.t hang on to when cracking open 2nd gear and the front wheel comes off the ground ? Mine does...

I have 91 NH 750 that does 0-60 in 4 seconds. Plenty fast enough.
