Hilarious how many people don’t understand that low oil prices would have doomed any political party. Look at what happened during 2020 when oil prices tanked again. But it’s easy to find a scapegoat for issues out of our control. I’d hardly blame the NDP for global oil prices in their term just as much as I wouldn’t blame the UCP for the same in 2020.

Expect the CBC do their part to be perfectly neutral in how the promote one party at the expense of the other. They are expert at it and when it comes to the federal Liberals they don't even try to hide it any more.

She updated us on changes to healthcare & HOW she achieved it, she admitted she has made mistakes, she admits there’s room for improvements, agrees to a GREEN plan TAILORED to this province & where she wants to take this province under her leadership. Notley WAS NOT prepared or professional. Her sole purpose of the debate was to CONTINUE to VERBALLY ATTACK Smith. She says she has a plan(s), yet provided voters with NOTHING. She has proven she DOES NOT have the BACKBONE to stand against Trudeau, Singh & Guibeault. In 2015 to 2019, she DID NOT fight against the tanker ban legislation, no pipelines legislation, ASSISTED Trudeau in DESTROYING our economy, 183,000 jobs lost & MANY Albertans lost EVERYTHING. She supports Trudeau, Guibeault & Singh’s “JUST TRANSTION” & agrees with his UNREALISTIC & IMPOSSIBLE zero emissions by 2030. Electricity rates would hav3 to rise by 80%. What voters DON’T KNOW is WHAT are her plan(s), WHAT it’s going to cost & WHERE the money is coming from. NOT from the Energy Sector she WANTS to shut down. In 2015, a co worker mentioned that her financial advisor saw many wealthy CEOs take off and left AB as soon as the NDP took power. Which resulted in less jobs, companies going under. In the ER we saw many suicides, attempted and successful, many cited recent job losses or pension loss as a reason. If you care for your fellow Albertans, you will vote UCP. Even under the NDP we saw a wage freeze in AHS because of the economy. Please, be considerate of others and have a heart. We need jobs, we need the UCP policies, increased policing etc. If you think what happened in Venezuela can't happen in Canada, you are a fool. My family suffered under a socialist government, they were going hungry, canada saved us. Conservative Alberta was so, so good to us 30 years ago. Alberta needs a progressive party back in power. Alberta always has been mired in economic precariousness because of its oil and gas sector. The NDP have always supported raising taxes on oil and gas companies, nationalizing the electricity sector (just like the rest of the country), and making sure that money is spent to recirculate throughout the Alberta economy. I'm not even from Alberta and even I care more about what happens to Alberta than the radical libertarian base of the UCP.
