I NEED to compliment the interviewer - what a professional and sensible guy. I loved it when he started the question about _My little love_ saying that he wanted to be gentle and that it wasn't his intention that she talked about anything she didn't want. And he talks to her so carefully and attentively. Can we have more people like him in the media?? ❤️

Absolutely! I thought the same thing. What happens when two thoughtful, reflective, aware and real people use their talents in a way that is not self promoting, gimmicky or sensationalist. Such a pleasure to watch and sadly such a rarity to experience. Big congrats to both of them for giving so much food for thought. I had to write down some of Adele’s responses because they were so real and insightful.

I read something a critic wrote about Adele, and it’s that “Adele has largely stood aside from the miniaturization and gimmickiness of current pop hitmaking. She can; she’s one of the few remaining stars with ardent fans across multiple generations, and she keeps her ear on pop’s history more than on fleeting trends“. And I could not agree more. She makes the music SHE wants to make and the music she thinks will help others. It’s why she seems to be in a different league to her peers in the industry. She’s very insightful and personable in interviews too (not to mention she has the voice of an angel). Very deserving of her success. And this was a great interview.

Prince was also an artist that made music for music’s sake and if you wanted to know what was in his heart you simply needed to listen to his his lyrics and music throughout his lifetime. He never followed trends. He never worried about charts. He fought Warner Bros for over 20 years for the ownership of his master recordings and now fellow artists finally see the importance of owning their music. Real musicians like Prince and Adele will forever be adored by their legions of fans because we recognize organic greatness and real music.

And I've loved everything she's done since '19', but '30' was a whole other level. It was just soo therapeutic in a way I can't even explain. When I listen to Adele, I’m always blown away by her sincerity and genuine-ness (is that even a word?). She’s not gimmicky, or phony, or interested in writing/singing for the purpose of fame - she’s REAL! She writes/sings from her heart - about real problems, troubles, heartbreak, strength, weakness, and progress. And, I for one, can relate to many of the songs on this new album. She put into words many things that I’ve thought or felt at one time or other in my life. Adele is a treasure!

If she is that genuine, why did she have all that cosmetic surgery...her nails, her hair, all fake...and she appears very self conscious. I guess I see what others don’t.

im not gonna try to sit here and hot sauce anything but real talk after listening to this album and really paying attention to the lyrics and what shes trying to tell us i sat here and shed a few tears cuz i could relate to some of the things and feelings she was going through and it really hit home for me..i hope everyone can appreciate what a gift she has given to us by her being so vulnerable and letting us into her personal life with this album..hearing her say that with her job comes being a celebrity and she ain't into all that and hates being a celebrity just shows to you how humble and down to earth type of girl she is and what you see is what you get and it makes us love her even more for being so real..thank you adele this is exactly what the whole world needed right now during these scary and uncertain times its like a breath of fresh air for all of us she is truly and angel sent from above to help the world heal..god bless her

She is so wise! I love that we're so close in age so her albums have been like a soundtrack to my grown up life. Her albums have been the therapy that I've never had the nerve to get for myself. I said on another video that I was scared of this album because I didn't feel ready to face my feelings like her albums make me do. But after this interview, I'm excited to listen. When she talks about entering your 30's and looking inward and evolving and leaving behind the traits of yourself you don't like... brilliant. Then to make an album that encapsulates that... man!

This is so so exactly how I feel abojt essentially yes being her age and growing up with her and felt with this album, is so the therapy we know we need and are excited for but also terrified of the demons it might make us have to face.

This is a wonderful interview because Tom talks about the music and asks Adele interesting questions about her songs. He understands music and has listened to Adele’s album. A lot of interviewers only want to talk about a musician’s personal life and ignore the music.

What a fantastic interview! Probably the best one I have ever seen. It was like listening to two old friends having a catch up after not seeing each other for a while. I would love to be able to tell Adele to her face just how brave she is, what a wonderful gift she gives to all of her fans every time she so openly gives her innermost feelings to her music and how every emotion comes through so real in her songs. There aren’t many artists who can, or would, do that. She is also a fantastic mother and Angelo will grow into a fine young man. Her respect for her ex husband is also very inspiring and a great inspiration to others who have to navigate a divorce. So much I could say if I ever had the opportunity….

I generally love the Apple Music interviews with Zane Lowe.. and I did enjoy his Adele 30 interview.. but I truly reeeeeeeeeeeeally enjoyed this interview with Adele so much more!!!! Tom you did such an amazing job! I really love how accessible you made Adele feel to the viewer!! Fantastic!!!! What I found so endearing is how connected it came across that you two were sharing mutual feelings and situations you both had in life. There seemed to be such a mutual understanding of where each other was coming from.. and felt like such an intimate conversation. I love that!!! I know you don't know each other.. but it seemed like real friends just sharing with each other. I think you both exude that kind of warmth and kindness that made this happen.. as in such a genuine and frank conversation! Annnnnyway.... I loved it!! Can ya tell?!?!? lol Great job... Tom and Adele!!! Currently listening to the new album on loop... it's so wonderful Adele. Well worth waiting for .. for sure! :)))

What I love and admire about Adele you see her beautiful soul and how real she is . A beautiful light ✨💫. (Why blend in when you can stand out is my motto . ) You don’t see that anymore. We are living in a different generation. Having listen to the beautiful track on her son and her embracing each other’s thoughts it touched me also at the end her talking about how she felt. That’s how I feel … I would say I’m an introvert I love my own space and used to being on my own .. but I feel lonely at the same time and my anxiety makes me overthink. I can’t win I never used to be like this either it’s almost like I’ve got to reinvent myself instead of living in the past . I’m slightly autistic which makes me an odd duck . But I love the lost and forgotten people that are different and unique

Wow, I’m truly speechless by this fantastic interview. Tom is incredible, and like Adele is so real w/his own experiences with viewers. I was so immersed in their conversation 30 minutes seemed like 5. Adele is a gift, a rare talent that shares her life through her lyrics and voice, and has remained true to herself for 11 yrs since her life changed w/the success of 19. I’m saving this one to watch again!
