Don't listen to the haters in the internet most of them didn't even read the whole manga and watch the entire anime and they didn't even try to understand the storyline they just keep hating just for hype ,how funny

Yo this anime is really good. It just gets pretty inconsistent, but then again all shows have those points, its just that Fairy Tail's inconsistencies are more obvious. But the highest points of the series are amazing. It was able to keep up with the big 3 after all. And if its trash then uit wouldnt have had 328 episodes and almost 80 million manga sales so yeah. Its a really fun show and its obvious that that is just what it wants to be. I would say that this is the show that made me cry the most LOL, Naruto was close but the feels in fairy tail are just on another level, because you become really invested in the characters and care for them. I would highly recommend this show. Also great reactions 🔥🔥🔥

What's interesting about Fairytail is that you don't what you will expect. I mean it's not your typical shounen anime where the MC has Big specific goal like to be Hokage, Pirate king, Wizard king or No.1 Hero. In Fairytail they are a guild who received different mission so you will never know whats next. But it doesn't mean that it has no plot. Many unexpected scenes and emotional moments. Villains are also well written. And the best is the Female characters. Not the fan service part but how well written and strong they are. You can see badass female villains and heroine's. Erza's is ridiculously strong, Lucy has the best character development. And Mirajane is the best girl of the show. So basically The thing that I hate about Fairytail is the jiggle butt gang. HAHAHAH

It always hurts me a little when I see people watching Fairy Tail openings and saying "This looks like Black Clover" when Fairy Tail was before and Black Clover was partially inspired by Fairy Tail haha... :'') And I can only say that Fairy Tail is not for everyone, it has its flaws, but is not bad, is just different and different doesn't equal bad. Yes, it could have been better and it has different plot points with wasted potential, but what I love about Fairy Tail is the fact that IT IS diffrent. Many of the things people complain about or when they say "they could have done this or that" are things that I've seen in hundreds of other Animes, so I like its difference. To make it short, what I always say to anyone interested on watching Fairy Tail is "Fairy Tai is for the Heart, Not for the Brain". If you think too much you will loose the magic and won't enjoy it, so you have to flow with it and don't take it too seriousley. I love Fairy Tail's Chaotic full of Hope world. And like some other coment said, is not so much about the Power of Friendship but the power of Feelings. And that actully makes sense in the Fairy Tail world. BUT at the end it depends on the watchers experiencie. If you start Fairy Tail, take it easy and I can only hope you like it.

Fairy tail has 328 episodes ,9 OVA ,2 movies and has 63 volumes with 545 chapters and now the fairy tail 100 years quest has currently have 9 volumes and 90 chapters

This is an extremely great, unique, and heartwarming anime. I first watched this in my middle school years when I felt really detached with my family and my step family. The theme of “family is made, not born” really got to me and this gave me so much hope for the future. Now I have a circle of friends that I’d do anything for. I also got closer with my younger step-siblings. Thanks to fairy tail. But you don’t care about me, you care about the anime 😂 : 1. Power of *Family* not friendship. There are times when it’s eye-roll worthy but (at least to me) those parts were extremely fun to watch. And there’s a reason for feelings = strength but I don’t know why a lot of people forget it TnT 2. Really hype. Every season is unique and nothing I’ve seen before. If there’s anything I hate, it’s Daphne arc (people who know know) it’s the worst and most boring arc and luckily it only lasts a few episodes. But there are AMAZING arcs. Oh goodness. Can’t wait for you to react to the first few episode so I can get ready for island, GMG, and tarta arcs. Not to mention edol. and ToH and seis arcs. The best beginning arcs. 2. The fillers are so fun and there’s barely any of them and most of the time it’s not completely unrelated to the plot. 3. MUSIC!! THE MUSIC!!! The openings aren’t the last of it, I’m telling you, the ost is the BEST in the world. The main theme is perfect hype music and you know immediately somethings gonna happen. And then there’s a reprise (is that the correct word?) of it but sad version. It’s so sweet and sad and I only learned violin just to play it 😂 don’t judge me 4. Most of the villains are the most complicated yet greatest villains I’ve seen. Some of them are villains just for villains sake but there are the many that you just CRY for. They have backstories as well! One of the best part of fairy tail, the villain backstory reveal (and side characters gets backstory too. Ul story is so sad (you don’t know her but even if you met her and finished purple moon arc you wouldn’t even know 😂)) 5. All the characters are so unique. It’s so baffling how unique hiro mashima is. And talking about character designs, it seems you’re a lover of fan service so you’re definitely welcome to view the show 😂😂 I’m not even a fan service enthusiast but I don’t mind fairy tail. 6. 👆👆👆👆👆👆(those who know know) And yes, I do expect you to be disappointed. There are a few bits of plot holes that build up and if you’re a masochist, then you’ll be disappointed in the amount of deaths. And like I said, a lot of eye-roll worthy moments. The strategy is to watch with my heart than my brain sometimes tho. Just know that if you quit it at the beginning, you’ll miss the amazing storytelling in the future. The biggest anime with the most plot holes but also one of the biggest plot build ups. Def worth it. Okay I’m done 😅😅

Fairy tail is a great series that gets hate by people who just wants to get depressed the whole time. Fairy tail above all else is a FUN feelgood Anime so if you watch it don't expect constant dark depression. There are dark seasons and some losses but that is a minority of the time (which it should be) so just don't go in expecting it's something it's not.

One thing every person seems to agree when first time watching these openings, other than the banger songs, are the character designs. The author just _don't miss._

The battles in the show look great and the "power of friendship" is true to a certain extent because not all the fights use this and its mostly friendship speeches *mostly* and not friendship powerup. Total it has 328 episodes, 2 movies and 9 ova's. There's a sequel anime of FT coming out next year as well.. I wouldn't get your hopes too high for this show though especially for the final arc but it is definitely enjoyable and bearable to watch.

I honestly love Fairy Tail so much. I first started watching it after having surgery that made me bedridden for a few weeks, so FT really has a special place in my heart. It helped me a lot through my recovery. I understand why people dislike it, but I will always be a FT fan. :)

I think it’s one of those anime’s that is in between amazing and good. It’s great to just sit back and watch for some good laughs, but still has some great fights and backstories are great in my opinion! Comedic relief is really just stupid in a way that you will just smile and say “wth” at. If you know what I mean! It’s one of my faves for a chill and enjoy moment!

I challenge anyone to name me 3 natsu fights that we're won by the power of friendship. I actually once rewatched the whole series just to count the number of fights that ended in some bullshit manner with the grand total of 4 fights in over 300 episodes and none of them were Natsu's. As for my recommendation watch till episode 29 the end of the first major arc of the series if you don't feel it by then don't continue fairy tail isn't for everyone and I am not afraid of saying that. That being said the final 3 arcs are truly a trifecta of shonen storytelling in my opinion.

This anime suffered a hate train. People that didn't see it would also talk shit... but this anime is pretty damn good. The later half gets a lot darker. The sequel goes even harder, might as well watch it

Natsu is aromantic through whole series (may change with the end of 100YQ). 31:15 BC got inspired by any shounen possible, they were made to be "the next shounen" especially early on it was very "take stuff from all around". 39:20 Four series. They released it in groups of 100 episodes. Fairy Tail (2010) ended mid tournament arc (you can see styles changing when Masayume Chasing opening happens). Fairy Tail (2014), came with artstyle evolving to modern Hiro Mashima style and ended after Fairy Tail Zero arc (it was prequel manga released side-along last manga arcs, it got released at the end of season 2). Then we have Fairy Tail (2018) that concluded the story. Fourth season just got announced and it will cover sequel manga "100 Years Quest". Considering the dates of previous series - my bet is on 2022 release? Also there are like 10 OVAs (probably we will get more in future) and two movies, first after first season (not really canonical) and second movie is placed mid-third season plotwise, but got released after second season (it is very much canon). 40:35 So - the power of friendship? Its valid source for magical power in this universe, so I don't know why people are complaining about it. Especially in cases of characters like Natsu or Erza there are valid explanations for their "powering through stuff" moments. Some spells are actually based on strength of relationships between people, as well. Do I recommend Fairy Tail? Probably - to see one of the biggest shounens of all time for sure. Quality wise it's just ok. Manga is really beautiful at times and story when no one is interfering is ok. Its important to notice that it has the same issue as other big shounens - where ending is somehow scuffed, but very on brand with the show in my opinion (look at Bleach and Naruto, it's the same situation). Anime also extends the ending which is nice. Animation fluctuates for anime, its very underwhelming in some arcs, especially some fillers. It has good animation early on, then it goes bad, but artstyle improves over time which is always nice. Plotwise - don't expect deaths and lower your hype and youll enjoy it. It's not bad show or story even. Mashima does build the story from the very beginning leaving hints to the final storyline. Fans and editors did meddle with it though so a lot of people don't die. Which actually becames a joke and trope for the show itself in the sequel series, which shows evolution of the artist. But it also can be linked to the story itself, as we do have a lot of boosting powers that could be the cause of people surviving shiet. Also a lot of issues that people had with the finale kinda got fixed in sequel or potentially will be fixed in the sequel. Like a lot of romantic pairings never got proper endings, but actually are expanded in the sequel. I would rate it as solid average 5/10 (so by general rating logic it's 7/10). With sequel being really fun and good + the movies and other stuff it will probably end as strong 7/10 for me (so like 8.5/10 in how people rate good stuff). Its like on level of Naruto. It could be better, it's mostly all about the journey, yada yada...

Honestly just go in expecting to have fun and you will... It's chaos and good time..Idk if it'll be your kinda show or not but it is fun and hillarious..FT really isn't perfect in many ways but it's one of the stories I enjoyed the most..I grew up with it, made me cry and laugh..the bg music always hits on the heart..Now as I'm grown I see the flaws & shortcomings but I also have new appreciation for certain things in it..Try not to nitpick (or do if you want to).. There's one or two arcs maybe which I don't really enjoy but even in them there are good moments..and for fillers it's not that much & most of it is enjoyable and definitely read the manga if you want, the art is so damn consistent & certain things definitely looks so much cooler in the manga IMO. What I'm saying is don't go in with any big lofty expectations & just try to enjoy the ride.

1st and 2nd season of this anime have brilliant animation. The 3rd, well you'll have to see for yourself if you watched up to that point this past month. The show does have a very mixed community so don't really trust what anyone says about the show being good or bad, just enjoy the show yourself and try to make your own judgements.

Yeah PoF exist and exits in most of the shounen anime, it just depends on the context on it, Fairy Tail has a theme about the bond of Family/comrade, so it play an important aspect in the series, Besides The series is pretty good with cool fights, funny scene, emotional moments,etc. It's just a fun series, the anime ended in 328 Episodes, you should definitely give it a chance to see whether it's just a 'trash' or not. The sequel of Fairy Tail is also getting an anime adaption, so now might be a great chance to catch up.

Oh man you should totally watch it it’s my favorite anime and for the “power of friendship“ hate I would like to say thats bullshit cause in the first couple episode we find out that the magic power can grow with emotions you could call it „power of emotions“ but not of friendship and its pretty accurate cause a pissed off person would hit harder than a calm person hope you’ll like it 😊 Oh and btw the english dub is really good I would suggest you to watch dub and sub for the first couple episodes and afterwards to decide how your gonna watch the rest 😅😂

This would definitely be a good time to get into fairy tail since the sequel series has gotten an anime adaptation announced.

My favorite thing about the show is the series main villain (black haired sad looking dude that keeps popping up in the second half of the openings). He is such a genius character because he is an anti-villain, meaning he is a character that is written to be loved by the audience, and is meant to be very likable, however they are still the antagonist. This makes him such a bittersweet character, because you keep rooting for him to be taken down while crying inside bc he isn't actually that bad. He is the definition of villain by circumstance, he recognizes he is a villain and felt horrible for causing terrible things to happen.

Power of friendship is an actual thing in the show, basically unifying of will to increase shared magic in battle. It almost mocks the trope with how they do it, and with the girls in this show (or guys depending on preferences) the excessive fan service at times won't be an issue.

For me the power of friendship is not a big deal since they value each other that much .it is because all of them had no family anymore .. if u really understand the whole story and maybe people might understand the concept of this anime ..so for me growing up watching the those famous anime .. perhaps it is one of my favourite ❤

Fairy tail is one of the first and only anime I've finished, it truly feels like a second family to me and I wanna rewatch it but I don't wanna cry a ocean again lol

A thing about FT that was pretty different from other animes. From the first ep, we knew Natsu was looking for Igneel and it was his goal to meet him again. Natsu is the official main character of the show. And yet the series never really showed Natsu actively looking for Igneel. The MC's motivations were not the main plot. The main plot was Fairy Tail, the guild, and the people in it. The first real arc of the show was about Gray. The next one about Lucy. And then about Erza. Natsu's own arc more ot less happened in Tartaros. Because in FT, everyone character is essential and each individual journey is just as important as Natsu's. This anime knew how to build it's characters and make us empathize with them. It also knows how to make us, the viewer, part of the guild.

The marks represent what guild a wizard belongs to. In a few of the openings it shows a few of the other guild marks that exist. I've actually thought about getting the Tartaros mark as an actual tattoo before.

ik this a year ago but when watching fairytail dont listen to other people. when they say "power of friendship carries them" and shit like that, FT was my first anime i ever watched and i enjoyed every episode, i didnt even know what filler was and stilled watched it all and enjoyed it. Im so thankful for not having haters influence my mind before watching it.

I think people get it confused. It's not power of friendship. It's emotions. More so- if one of them is extremely pissed or upset it affects their power level and makes them stronger. Having a reason to fight and a reason to push through to win is what people mistake as "power of friendship". The main thing is they get mad if someone threatens their "friends" and thus pushes them to break their limits just to save those they hold dear. So if anything its power of emotions.The more powerful the emotion the more it impacts them and their power. Also they aren't really just friends they're more like a giant family and they say that a lot in the anime. Obivously, if your family gets hurt, you aren't going to feel nothing you're going to be upset. That anger and hatred they feel for the one who hurt their family is what draws out their full power. Sometimes they do work together and it does seem power-of-friendshipish but that's just the other's anger and determination fueling each other's and thus getting all of them powered up via mutual emotions

It is power of friendship, but more so in the way that their friends give them the mental strength to never give up, because they have something worth fighting for

The 3 dragon slayers Natsu Gajeel and Wendy learned their magic from actual dragons that basically acted as foster parents to each of them.

Yo i personally love this anime and watch it atleast once a year. The tournament arc and final season are 2 of my favorites. Definitely worth watching.

The magic of this world is fueled by strong emotions you can compare it to something like Gohan’s rage boost.

The main group is Natsu is the fire dragon slayer as you might have already guessed he his abilities are all fire based. The blonde is Lucy Heartfellia and she is a celestial spirit wizard who uses keys to summon various spirits including most of the Zodiac which are gold in color. Gray Fullbuster uses a type of magic called maker magic using the element of ice though later on he will learn a type of ice forgotten magic too. The red head is Erza Scarlett who uses a type of magic called reequip this allows her to change both her armor or weapons at will and is one of the strongest members of fairy tail. The main villain in opening 2 and future fairy tail member in later arcs is Gajeel Redfox the iron dragon slayer. Also appearing as a villain in that arc and later fairy tail member is Juvia Lockser a water wizard. The blue haired girl introduced in opening 5 is Wendy Marvell like Natsu and Gajeel she is also a dragon slayer as well that being the sky dragon slayer.

I watch Fairy tail for 3 times,i can say that power of friendship is just what people who hates Fairy tail said,there is always power of friendship in any Shonene anime 🔥🔥🔥

Fairy tail is my favorite anime and my favorite characters are mystogan and Zeref. This anime, in my opinion is really amazing. The music, story- and character building, it's all just really well made. I haven't watched the whole series though, only about 200 episodes I think, so I can't say much about the later seasons.

Kudos to the production team also for choosing the best possible opening for the series that really captured the heart of the show.

People who say it's trash are most probably admitted in Asylum now.

Ignore the people who have gave it negative feedback. There's to much mixed feelings about Fairytail honestly it would have to be based off your opinion all the way up to the end. There's is friendship type of vibe but it's because they're in a guild ( yes it had it right or were on the right track on what it was ) a guild sticks together and does quests & adventures etc... There's a few episodes here of there of fillers but it also gives the back history of Fairytail and how it started. If you were to react to Fairytail I'd imagine you'll get people watching your reactions to the Anime especially now that the 100 year quest has been shown that is going to get an Anime Adaptation as well. The Anime quality is the same as the openings. It does get better as it goes on like most other anime does. I'm not gonna sit here and give you high hopes of it being the best anime there is. But it definitely isn't bad either like most people make it out to be honestly. There's the Anime series then the OVA'S then the Movies and Mangas as well. Again if you were to react to it I believe you'll get viewers & I think you'll like it. As for the fan service it's nothing big like most other Animes it's the usual honestly. I've seen worse lol and its nothing really new in anime it's always been there. Fairy Tail comes from Hiro Mashima, the creator of Rave Master, and the popular manga artist cites J.R.R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings) and Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball) as inspirations for his magical adventure set in the Kingdom of Fiore. Hiro Mashima made Rave Master, Fairy Tail, Monster Hunter Orage, and Edens Zero ( New Anime that just came out I believe ) Hope I answered most questions that you had asked in the video 😅

I love Fairy Tail 🥰 forever in my heart! Power of friendship! The story! The character development is on point! Very emotional. I cried a lot. The fights and the way many things connect at the end. I recommend. At first it does start off light hearted and funny and drags a bit but it picks up and the further u get into the seasons the darker it becomes. It gets more serious and heartbreaking.

Fairy Tail Fairy Tail Zero is prologue side story Fairy Tail 2016 was the continuation of where Fairy Tail left off with their 'coloseum olympics' you saw in the opening, which started off with BoA's song Chasin' I 'think' that was the last season....basically it was just a question of continuation of the main series cuz there was a bit of a wait time between Fairy Tail and Fairy Tail (2016) to finish the rest of the story, I think they needed more time for it before the release.

Yes Natsu and Lucy are very good friends. Last thing any other character should ever do is go after Lucy. Doing that is like a character in Dragon ball Z threatening the earth they will meet their end.

He is a dragon. His name is Acnologia but other titles he goes by are the dragon king and the black dragon of the apocalypse. He is the final villain Fairy Tail has to defeat.

Also, power of friendship is hardly used and it’s not pretentious. Like honestly since the theme is family is not born but made they fight for their friends as motivation, and the only “pof” moments (there’s 3 in total from my rewatch in like 300+ eps. Yea the speeches can be eye rolling but I mean what shounen speech isn’t. So yea give it a try

Fairy tail will forever be in my heart. Yes it has a lot to do with the power of friendship and it has gotten on my nerve but the story plot flows very smoothly, eventually everything comes together, secrets revealed, mysteries revealed, reunions , a lot of emotional moments that have made me cry, and the fights are awesome 😁

As much as Fairy Tail is the power of friendship, the anime; the whole theme of the show is friendship, so i genuinely have no problem when Natsu beats the villain through the power of friendship. The problem with the power of friendship is when it is applied to an anime like black clover, naruto, etc. where the protagonist has some high, lofty goal and right at the end of the fight the power of friendship swoops in and defeats the villain when it has no precedent or meaning to the story

One of my favorite anime. It has some fanservice and some power of friendship, but I don't think it is as bad as some people say. It has a great mix of humor, action, emotions sad backstories and so on. The best part for me is the interactions between the characters. And it has some filler, but if I'm not wrong, the mangaka was helping with the storyboard, so it's actually pretty good fillers. It also have some one of episodes which for the most part are either funny or feel good so they are great. Most people I know who have hated on the show had never read or watched it, and then when they actually gave it a chance they really liked it. It takes a little bit of time to get really good, but if you are a little patient in the start it will pay of.

Also all of this happened in just 2 years, so no, Natsu did not grow that much the guild just has that many adventures, and the power of "friendship" is just haters hating, the thing is fairy tail uses magic, and magic comes from love so if you fight for something you want to save or protect, your Magic gets stronger, but it's not annoying at all people just hating for nothing, and all other shounen do this Luffy and his will to save his nakama naruto and his will to protect the village, dragon ball characters literally scream to get stronger and nobody complains about it. Fairy tail is the only show where it actually makes sense and people just hate on it because it's a "trend" I guess

Fairy Tail are the first one to ever release before black clover.

Every anime has the power of friendship like movements. Which is the character fight a more powerful opponent and they will end up defeating them because their loved ones are in danger. There are a lot of fights like those in Naruto. The difference here in fairy tail is, they will openly say it. They talk about their friends, (who are their guildmates, which is their only family) and how they make them stronger before defeating the enemy in some fights. That's why some people who can't comprehend it take it as "power of friendship". The show talks about their friendship because the anime is literally about their friendship as a family in the 'fairy tail' guild. In reality, almost all fights are won because of some other reason. Not just because of any "power of friendship". I liked it. If you like a lighthearted anime with great visuals, great music, a lot of well designed charectors and a ton of happy and emotional scenes, then this is for you. Give it a try. But not everyone is going to like it.

There is a bit of power of friendship and fan service... But not that much. People really exaggerate on this. And in some of those times, the "power of friendship" makes sense. The fan service however... You take it or leave it, but it doesn't take away the good moments.

You should absolutely watch this show. It got a bad rep, and then it became popular to hate on it for a while but it’s a genuinely good show
