It starts with the parents. If they don't possess morals and values that good and decent, then we see what happens with the children. It's a repeat cycle. This is irregardless of an income bracket, a neighborhood, a social status, or an educational level. This country has some of the most highly educated, gated community, wealthy people, who do not possess good morals and values!!!
@ItsMyLifeDaralynn Жыл бұрын
@@patriniacopeland6891 Respectfully I agree to a certain degree. Some of the best parents created the worse offsprings and it didn't have anything to do with poor upbringing . However, for the most part , good parents have a better chance .

It’s all in how you raise your children. Black people back then had more pride and cared about getting the best education.
@gwenclark29316 ай бұрын
@@sherryhillman9197I get your point. Back then, education for Black children was pushed so they could make a good living (even though that's not the only reason). Now, the world has changed so much, and many college-educated people aren't making as much as a lot of teenage KZfaqrs. There are 18 year old KZfaqrs out there making millions annually. I think more emphasis is on money ONLY now than the college-educated experience and benefits. Frankly, I'm not mad at the KZfaqrs and investors who are currently using social media and investments to create wealth - as long as they don't let that wealth ruin them emotionally and socially. Either way, intelligence can't be bought.

An incredibly strong woman, but on the other hand, 'not a complete surprise given to the courageous people she spent time with, all part of a great movement in such challenging times that demanded strength and courage.

Absolutely beautiful and lovely display of unity, strength, perseverance, faith and hope. Coretta pressed on for the sake of her children. She knew that even though her husband was savagely taken from her, she was determined to keep Martin's dream alive. There is just something wonderful and most beautiful about a woman with this kind of strength and Grace under great pain and pressure. God truly held her together❤️

Bro there were bad kids back than as there are now just like how they are good kids now. Did you not hear the part where mlk son was saying he would get teased?
@gwenclark29316 ай бұрын
@Ettennea, I understand exactly what you are saying. The overall comparison of what used to be considered respectful vs. what is respectful now are lightyears apart. She was not her children's "peer". She was a parent. And I personally believe that the current norm has become, "Be your child's peer" which is totally different from being their friend. But unless one was there to witness what WAS vs. what IS, it may be hard for them to understand and grasp the difference.

(tears) what touching footage...first time I ever saw this! RIP oh great man Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. How nice to see the children in their younger years and a very beautiful Coretta. . And WHY...does this have 21 dislikes? I mean really???
@teetawn9454 Жыл бұрын
HATE!! It's likely 21 racists have disliked this video. There would be NO other reason to dislike a video displaying a grieving family in the midst of tough times. Even their vulnerability, pain and sorrow in this interview aren't enough to soften the hearts of racists. Racists will hold onto hate w/ALL their might!!! It's just in their makeup unfortunately. Also, unfortunate is that they are perfectly okay with it!!
