Happy Hanukkah! My family wasn't Jewish, but growing up there was a Jewish bakery and deli a block away from our home that we frequented. I miss that place and all the delectable delights and delicious smells, like donuts...cookies...coffeecakes...breads. Be still my cholesterol laden heart!

The BEST sufganyot I’ve ever had was at URI’s in Isreal!! They make them with caramel!!!

I live in a jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn New York and NEVER have I seen this delicious treat. this looks so yummy. none of the orthodox stores sell something like this :(
