Worst team Canada ever assembled. What was Ron Duguay, Brian Engblom doing on this team. It looks like they were not playing to a system, which is surprising given that Scotty Bowman was running the team.

They waited an extra yr for this it was supposed to be 1980 but the boycott of Soviet Union for invading Afganistan wow history repeats itself. Mike Liut sucked in the finals .

i have very little respect for Canadian sports fans because of the antics of their hockey team that they celebrate. i noticed this video and wondered if maybe Canadians were different back in the day, and whaddya know: 18 seconds into the game (4:54) it turns out the Canadians forged a slip to earn themselves a 2 minute minor. cheaters always. but what can you expect when they didn't even invent the sport that they claim.
