@DJBonhaus Now I only have the one set up, so yours will be a bit different. 1) You will have to link your two decks off of one another and connect them via USB. 2) You will have to make sure that your sound settings are set up corectly in the sound set up section (I think they should be as follows...inputs-none, outputs-external mixer, soundcard option-2 cards and the other sound card setting to Pioneer. Try that and see if it works.

It was good. I am using v Dj 7 and using cdj 2000 asio as the sound card. And using the 2000 RCAs to my mixer. It works just great.

@vega1500 Because your using the mk2, you will have to use the time code cd. If you only have the one cdj you will run the rca's from the cdj into your external sound card and then run two set of rca's out from your external sound card to your mixer channles. I can't remember what the audio settings are in vdj...? If i have time I'll take a look.

how do I make the cdj's work with virtual dj? i have the cdj 800mk2 and this sound card Focusrite Saffire 6 USB Audio Interface

@jackdee15 I gotta' be honest, I hate using the record feature in vurtual dj, I always have problems with it, I don't trust it. So that being said, what I do is I use a free program called Audacity, it never fails. You just have to run your audio cord from your mixer to the mic input of your computer, open the program and start recording.

You don't use your cdj 2000 soundcard in this tutorial do you? You sound goes directly from your laptop soundcard to your external soundcard that is connected to your mixer am I right?

i have 2x cdj 2000 & djm 800 and have virtual dj wired up which is great but how do you record when i try to record a mox through virtual dj doesnt work right :S it records the track that i am setting to mix into track playing even though volume is down for song i am setting to start mixing in ? if you get me ? thanks jack

Or!!!!! You can forget all that shit and just put your music on a flash drive and THATS IT!!!!!! Your done!!! Your good to go!!! Set up time for that is about 4.8 seconds!!!
