Wow, I only thought the Audio Interface was on the 900 & 2000. Thanks for the video! I do however have a few questions. Firstly, did you have to install a MIDI mapping for the CDJs? And how do you get each CDJ to control it's respective traktor deck? Or does this more or less work automatically? Secondly, Is there any HID Information on the CDJ Unit itself? I Expect not, but thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks again for your video!

hello... do you know any way to work with serato.. or only for traktor.. i know i can connect it to rekordbox.. but what about serato.. with all this pandemic, im doing my lives set only with flashdrives, but i want it to change a little bit. could you help me?? thanks in advance

The same goes with most USB devices, you can use this tutorial to map anything, I've used a notation launch pad mapped with traktor to launch samples quickly while I mix with 2 cdjs, this video proves it :)

@DJChemicalPoison you dont need scratch 2 pro, you can use any version as far as i am aware, it works with VDJ, and sarato aswell, yes i have 1.06 firmware installed i always update my firmware and i would recomend everyone do the same

@mintzax i have never had any issue, i use the mapping as pioneer made it, i dont really use the back button, so never noticed, i would use eject instead, but the selection one works fine, and scratch works fine

dose the usb cable for the cdjs come with it then you buy it? or did you have to buy it?

@DJChemicalPoison yeah i have updated the firmware since i bought them, new firmware updates are to iron out any bugs the players have, and these are free downloads avalible from the pioneer support site, as for if it really works, this video was done in real time i didnt edit it in anyway so, you seen on the video that it works

how do you set up the other deck? tried it however it did not work :( , traktor detects 2 cdj 350 , what do i choose? please help , thanks

Thanks matey. I use an S2 but the venue I play in has 350's and doing this will save me 20 minutes faffing with kit at the start and end of gigs. 350s are better to scratch with too

Did you find that after adjusting the buffer settings the audio still dropped out?

I updated the cdj since i bought it (3 monthes ago) but i can not use the traktor software properly. Did you change the mapping pioneer gives? I have problem with the music selection and "back" botton, an with scratch button. nO PROBLEMS ON VIRTUAL DJ.

hi dj ric new to dj'ing and i have just purchased the same cdj 350s in white,using allen and heath xone 32 mixer i have just puchased traktor pro 2 and have plugged all my cdjs into my macbook air, sounds stupid but audio is coming out of my laptop and not the cdj i cant control traktor through cdj either and it hasnt detected the cdj,could you guide me on how to set it all up as im completely new to all this dont know where im going wrong and you seem like the man to guide me!!

i got them to work but they both play sound thu the same channel (6) on my mixer, how can i get them to play on diffrent channels? like for instance chanel 3 and 6. (yes the 350's are hooked up into thier independent channels)

I'm using Traktor Pro 2.5 and when I connect my CDJ's 350 on the Controller Manager opcion my devices appear in the In-Port but they should appear on the Out-Por... Any suggestions ?

yes i did, the propblem was the buffer setting on tractor need increased it is explained in another video of mine

Hi....Nice video my friend....i have 1 question for you...i play music in 1 club with 2 cdjs 350 and dhm 400...i play with virtual dj 7(Pro)i dont have soundcart because i now that i dont need because the cdjs 350 have already...i play with virtual dj and all it work ok i have download drivers and all is ok but i dont have a good sound the bass dont hear and the quality is too BAD...what i can do?????this cdjs have the 1.01 wirmware update..i need to update this to 1.06 for better sound or what?

You need to make sure that you use the build in CDJ soundcard in Traktor not your PC soundcard or anything else.

i have some questions to make about the cdj 350 and djm 350.....^ recently, about 2 or 3 months go, i have bought the 350 SET..... good features.etc etc! a cool stuff generely. I have downloaded TRAKTOR PRO 2....... i have set up all the things ... midi ch1 midi ch2..etc etc.......all works!!! BUT, the LED's on PLAY/PAUSE button are intermitent.. example: i click on PLAY and the led is ON continuous......I Stop it or CUE it...and the button is LED OFF.... but its alternative!! sometimes

but when you record the transmisions between the 2 cdj are not sent to traktor so when you record you just record each song not the sound thats exiting trogh the amplifier

not really, as alot of the time i dont use tracktor at all,the first couple of videos i did on here was without traktor, but most clubs will allow you to bring your own equipment, because not all dj's use cdj's then may use dennon's for example and the layout can be totally different, or most club now no longer have technics anymore, but some dj;s still have not adopted the cd units

sometimes music is playing on a CDJ with the play/pause or CUE buttons with LED on, and another times music is also playing but the LED's are OFF..and its alternative......1 time is on, another is off, one time is ON again..and after is off again.......

no you dont need time code, it is all control using the midi signal from the player itself

using the DJM-350 you dont need to worry, pup a usb into the mixer and press record

this setup is ok if you only use your deck. but given the situation that you are invited to spin in the club and they have cdj 1000's your in big trouble.

Pick one of you're CDJ's turn it on hold the utility button go to MIDI CH click it then it says CH1 turn that to CH 2.

It does not come with an USB cable.

Mac Users , You need download the MID mapping file and maybe CDJ Aggregator for Mac. Find it in google.

another thing that is not work properly is the jog wheels! when i play it without traktor.they are fine.. when i set up all with traktor pro 2............ the jog wheels dont work fine!

sorry but as i dont have a mac i cant really help, i have tried helping mac users in the past and kinda got it sorted, but things are different between running windows and mac os, best advice i can give you is come to the pioneer dj forums forums.pioneerdj . com and speak to the people on there there are guys work for pioneer use them all the time so best place to get help
