Dang 20 to $25 partially taken apart then goes to 80 plus dollars full breakdown yeah I'd say it's worth the work that's a big happy chunk of change from somebody else's trash great job man nice find

This was a forklift or a pallet jack charger and they are well worth scraping I have worked with both and have never seen one that had aluminum transformer thank you for sharing this with us six stars brother

This charger was a nice find. Recently, I found a big - old transformer that was weighting 22 pounds and had 6 pounds of copper out of it. It is rare I find things like that altough.

I think even the frame of the charger can be HMS. Check the thickness. A good copper score. If you are going for copper yard run, I remember you got dozens of small motors under your work bench. By using your machete you can split them into half and with your copper extractor can make a decent amount of copper to add to your pile.
