I hike the 26 miles into Dubois, WY. I'm a bit frazzled after hearing a bear roar in the dense trees as a friend of mine was mauled by a grizzly this in area a few years ago. Later on I hear that problem bears from Yellowstone get rehomed here. After a long wait for a hitch a car turned back around to pick me up because they saw a grizzly and cub not far from where I was trying to hitch. I spend a MUCH needed zero day in Dubois and change out some of my gear.
