He also said there is nothing you can do, so don't look - well there is something you can do: first of all look and dig further, second directly register your shares with the company's transfer agent, removing it from the clutches of Cede & Co./DTC and putting them directly in your name. It removes the ability for short sellers to borrow your stocks from your broker and sell them on the open market.

For tyrants, sure it sounds great, but who wants to be like China? If tomorrow the government decided outlaw bitcoin, it could sanction anyone who transacts and cut off everyone overnight. You couldn't find any company to trade your code for fiat, or anything but more code. I think crypto was created as a trojan horse to usher in their cashless society, think China on steroids. Watch what they'll do to crypro, because what's a $3 trillion dollar market against an unlimited supply of fiat currency and a super computer? There's a reason why the IRS just hired 80,000 new tax agents, they're fishing before the fry.

Check who your companies direct register company is (i.e. ComputerShare), and directly register your shares in your name so you actually own and control them!

I've been trading crypto with crypto saylor Susan since high price and l've made about a whooping profit of $86,000 in crypto its not much but I'm OK with the progress since I now make a whole lot from the comfort of my bed.

I had interest in investing in forex and crypto but I was discouraged by friends and family, I was being ignorant thought.

Ownership is very similar to law because it has to enforced. We all kind of agree on each other's ownership as we mostly agree on law. Imagine if the whole population found out that their savings were "stolen". Even if it was legal on paper you would lose all that trust. People would be mad and would turn the whole society into chaos. The whole economic machine would become worthless because there would be no labour capital and the societal trust would be mostly gone and the society would have to undergo major rebirth (new order, revolution, shift, dystopia call it whatever)

If someone disagree he cannot take it because the law would prevent it and the justice system will decide what’s right. However if everybody disagree on that system I collapse. If there is no law and no enforcement something is owned by the one that take it and defend it. Like in some apocalypse films some armed group take propriety of building and cars etc even if there aren’t paper. That’s the same concept here. Think about your bigger brother that take from you a toy and say “now is mine” you can’t take it back because he’s stronger than you, so you go to your mom, the law enforcement who knows that it’s your toy and she’s stronger than your brother. But if your mother is at the grocery there is nothing you can do about it. The same here, if that company owns all the stock on paper it dosent matter. People would make a revolt against the system, they would stop working and the company become worthless without labour. They could enforce with the military but that would be the start of an apocalyptic scenario.

All you have to do is Direct Register your shares with the transfer agent of the stock you hold. It's just illegal for any company to ask it's shareholders to direct register it's shares. If that's not a sign it's rigged, Idk what is,.

Then call up your broker and tell them you want to direct register your shares. Your broker should walk you through the steps

Yeah I’m pretty sure it mainly only applies to nasdaq/nyse stocks as well as stocks from other major exchanges like Hong Kong and London. But I’m sure they’ve got some otc stocks as well haha

@@LogicallyAnswered I'm mostly referring to AMC and GME, there's been an accelerated release of DTCC, NSCC documents that detail a structured sell-off of overleveraged members assets + loan process to pay debts. Retail refuses to sell their shares, and shorts are desperate to maintain margin requirements. Citadel has told it's investors that they must wait 4 years to receive their capital, or pay a fee for immediate withdrawal. The literally removed the buy button in January and are still trying everything, the writing is on the wall imo.
