Celebrating America in Romania! 4th of July!

We got together with some other American families and celebrated the 4th of July! It's always interesting celebrating in a foreign country, but we had a wonderful time and good food!

Happy 4th of July! Love your videos and family. I have two questions for your next Q&A video: 1) why don't you travel through România more? It's a beautiful country with lots of things to see and experience, both natural and man-made. I would really like to know your first-glance opinion on the people, the landscapes, the customs and traditions, the differences you might notice between the different regions (Moldova, Muntenia, Oltenia, Ardeal, Crişana, Bucovina) 2) I am a Romanian, and I've traveled to the U.S. and to Canada several times, however I found people to be more genuine and more direct in România. What is your experience on this topic? Once again, I love what you're doing, and even though we have different upbringins and religions, I strongly encourage you to keep it up and to continue to share the Calderon family experience with us. Happy belated fourth guys! I am currently learning Romanian and found your channel hoping to get more exposure to the language. I find it disappointing that I don't hey to hear Romanian in your videos but would love if you implemented it more.

Hello from the Seattle area. We are fascinated by your life in Romania/Brasov. May I ask you a few questions. 1. We would like to come and spend a few months or more in Brasov. Are there apartments for rental in or near the Old City, or do you recommend any other areas of Brasov? 2. Are there evangelical churches in English?. 3. Is Uber a reliable form of transportation in the city of Brasov, other than driving your own car? 4. Are there any parks for walking/jogging? 5. Do you know any website that can be used for renting an apartment/house, or is it done through a real estate agent? Thank you so much, and be blessed.

Hello! Thanks so much for watching! That’s awesome that you get to visit! 1. Yes, there are a ton of great places on AirBnB available, especially in the center (old city). Almost every place you will find is safe, but it would be nice to be that close to everything. 2. There is one that translates into English every Sunday. It is Calvary Chapel Brasov (casa de pe Stanca) and we love it there. If you search on fb or Google, you will find their info. 3. Uber and Bolt are most commonly used and are very safe and reliable. Also the public bus system is cheaper and also very reliable. 4. There are several parks to walk/jog. Lake Noua is a great one as well as sub Tampa. 5. Airbnb is definitely your best option
