This video was so wholesome and I love that CD Projekt Red took the time to make something like this!! I can not wait for The Witcher 4 to come out and I may just have to go back and play the original games as well :)
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a 2015 action RPG developed and published by CD Projekt Red. We take control Geralt of Rivia, a mercenary for hire known as a Witcher. We battle the game's many dangers with weapons and magic, interact with NPCs, and complete quests to acquire XP and gold, which are used to upgrade Geralt's abilities and purchase more powerful equipment!

You seem pretty emotionally stable for just having finished the game. I was depressed for like 3 days afterwards

it's been 6 years for me. I can't move on from the dang game every time I play a game I start comparing it to this. I keep coming back to the game. Cyberpunk is the one I enjoyed the most since though. There are pretty different but it has the immersion factor. I just keep playing it and reading the books. Before this it was Skyrim for me, but this took it to another level.

Always feels right watching this right after the B&W campaign, like a post credits scene at the end of a film series that ended phenomenally.

hahh you did it thanks! What a send off! I still tear up a touch every time. I've seen it 20 times or more. There is no other game that did this for me. So many aspects. I have a daughter, I love the story, the family angle, the characters, what the game does it hits a nerve. There is still Witcher 2 waiting for you. My discovery of this game is a story. I remember standing in a GameStop, voicing my frustration over not finding any game that captivated me as much as "Skyrim" did. Then, a young enthusiast approached me and recommended "The Witcher." It was 2018, a moment I've etched into my memory. Skeptical, I asked, "Is it actually good?" To which he replied, "It's not just good, it's a masterpiece without equal." He said it as it was a fact. Taking his word, I brought it home and embarked on what would be a rewarding journey. Admittedly, my return to gaming was rocky due to my demanding job and family commitments, stretching my playthrough to nearly two years the first time. Yet, this game proved to be more than worth the investment. It stands as one of the most enriching experiences I've ever had. I've been playing this off and on ever since. The narrative depth, emotional complexity, and rich, immersive world of "The Witcher 3" have set a new standard for storytelling in games for me. I can't think of anything that gets to this level. It's the complete packages I agree with others that Cyberpunk is also very good, its my number 2 after this game. I've not had any issues like others had with it. Witcher two i throughly enjoyed you will too. It helps to have played 3 first you'll get more out of the dated aspects of w2. Don't be afraid of it though if you know what i mean. It's a political story that fills out certain angles with this one.

Wow what a story! I’m glad that other people have had the same feelings that I’ve had for this game. I discovered it pretty much by accident. It was early 2016 and I was going to the game store to buy WWE 2k16, but I went to 3 different stores and none of them had it delivered to them yet. I think it was the first day of release so it wasn’t available yet where I’m from. I was disappointed, but wanted to play a new game anyway, so I shrugged my shoulders and randomly picked Witcher 3 off the shelf. I had seen a few trailers and thought it looked pretty cool, but that’s almost all I knew about it back then. I bought it for the equivalent of 30 bucks as it was on sale, and as you put it, it was one of the most enriching gaming experiences I’ve ever had. Probably also the best investment of my life, cuz I’ve been playing that same disc that I bought back then for the past 8 years

This was released in 2017 when The Witcher 1 was 10 years old. What's shocking is that in a year and a few months The Witcher 3 will have its own 10th anniversary. Feel old yet? Time really flies. I remember the long wait for this game and how hard it was with all its delays. I once even had a dream that I'm already playing it before it was out because I was so hyped for it. And then when May of 2015 finally came, I recieved my collector's edition, started the game and I just remember riding through White Orchard on Roach and soaking in the atmosphere ❤

aww man ive Never see this before, thanks for sharing it Paige, i caught your initial start a bit after the fact, then got sidetracked untill this came up on my sidebar, yea its very touching, i mean who does this right? being a non-gamer it took me almost 2mnths to figure out how to even navigate a game controller and menues let alone THE game itself, but,, today, after 18 mnths, 1200+ Hrs, ive completed the Main & DLC's tho still playing (just ravaging the open-world, leveling up in prep for a newgame+) watching numerous Witcher related youtubes (including yours now) countless Wiki/Fandom articles, and currently read to Chapter 10 of the Tower of the Swallow, ive been All In, hopelessly hooked, soul-ripped from day one, so i can appreciate your journey! the only question is 'where do we go from here? hope to see more of you on the path Witch(eress) :)

I loved that you said next playthrough. I've done it twice and can honestly say my second experience was entirely different than the first. I found so many new things including new quests, it really felt like a fresh experience. I no longer had the anxious feeling of the unknown on my 1st playthrough. My 2nd gave me time to relax and take things slow. I explored more than the 1st time and encountered completely new quests and characters I never met before. I highly recommend you do it again, though not yet. Let it simmer for a bit. When you feel the time is right, do it again. There are TONS of new mods coming out to make the next gen look even purrdier. I'd recommend you try it again with lots of graphical mods installed to get a new look as well. That's what I did on my 2nd. I can't wait for a 3rd playthrough on NextGen. I just keep putting it off with this exciting feeling of when I do it again, I'm going to love it all over again.

Agreed on the visual mods. Make different decisions. Visit places out of order and freak out because CDPR planned for that, too. Maybe add the fast travel from anywhere mod just to make editing easier. All the things.

Fun fact (don't read if you plan on playing again in the future): . . . If you end the game without a main romance option (either by rejecting both Triss and Yen or romancing both at the same time), Ciri is the one who visits you at Corvo Bianco :D

What a ride! Wasn't it? Followed since 1st ep of series ;) I've no idea if you've ever time for it, but next play through I'd highly recommend you to do off-stream. In CDPR's game sometimes a second off screen and you're missing a lot. Which you most likely didn't realize, yet it has happened to you very often (Well it happened even here on this trailer, after in game footage!) - while you were reading and reacting to chat and talking to camera, playing with your cute cats etc. That's a blessing and a curse of a streamer I suppose. You've got a lot told in chat and explained some stuff, and it can be nice to have people enjoying stuff with you, but nonetheless you missed so much too due to that too. Hey it's not hate at all, it's hard to make it fun for everybody while streaming, that's just an advice. CDPR's games... a mixture of reality; comedy, drama, wild ride, dirty brutal lowlife, love, hate and beautiful bitter-sweet stories. Bunch of laughs, sometimes tears, hard choices that make you think twice, likeable characters and overall well written NPCs, fine details and great story. That all when played alone hits different, personal. It's a game that tastes the best when consumed slowly, listening to some amazing dialogues of randomly passing NPCs, admiring trolls :D enjoying the views. First time I've played I've got the bad ending in main game, oh dear I've never felt such a void after playing any game. I had no clue there were other endings, it was breathtaking and heat breaking, for few days I felt touched. To this day from time to time I watch other people play for first time and hope to see them having such a great experience as I had :D Though bad ending of main game seems the most fitting, cruel yet so powerful. In the end by the choices I've made and where it lead into, made me realize I was too controlling and cold as a person in real life. Made me question myself and change to let people be, understand their personalities more. Perfect example: Lambert, he became so sour and grumpy due to what happened to him in his life, and it's hard to argue, as what he says makes perfect sense. Quite an eye opener for me.

this is one of those games where you just HAVE to consume every bit of stuff the game throws at you, never skip any dialogues because once you finish it and you didn't do the side quests and skip like the flavor texts/dialogues, the second playthrough just wouldn't be as magical as the first. can't wait for witcher 4.

Yep. A very good love letter to the fans. You should at least play Witcher 2 once, somewhat in the future. Its gonna be a little bit yenkier, (gameplay wise), but it is not so far removed from Witcher 3 as the first game, which is kind of a pain in the butt combat wise and way older in the graphic department and dialog trees.
