when my mum discovered emoji she went through a period of sending me strings of them - often with no context. It was just like every picture she found that she thought was cool and POSSIBLY related to our conversations got included. It was confusing, to say the least... ...god, I miss that woman. After I had my first kid I was exhausted and asked her when I would ever get normal sleep again, and she simply said "oh - about when they move out of home". LOVE. YOUR. MUMS/MOMS. They worry.
