I flippin LOVED when that chick ducked down and came right back up! 😅 I was a manager of a bookstore and had the pleasure of encountering this exact kind of human. I politely told her I would be happy to get the manager. I turned around, took two steps, and swiftly turned right back around with a huge customer service grin, along with my hand out to properly introduce myself 😂🤣 It was very satisfying to say the least! 😊

As someone who works at McDonald’s, that is our inner monologue 95% of the time. Key word is INNER. Once you express that openly you cross the line of professionalism and risk your job. The Verizon & Apple Store clips reminded me of an incident that happened in my area a few years back (not mentioning the store out of our privacy) At one location a Karen wasn’t getting her way so she started screaming every racial slur imaginable before being escorted out of the store. It was so bad that the employees called every store location within 50 miles & sent them a video of the incident, plus a copy of her driver’s license. She ended up going to a dozen or so stores that day & all of them either locked the doors the second they saw her coming, or asked her to leave the second she walked in. (customers even started helping at a few locations & even clapped when she left) Hubby & I were in one of the stores & Karen hit my husband when she started yelling at me for being disabled & tried pushing me out of my wheelchair. So 2 employees picked her up off the ground, walked her outside & locked the doors before calling the cops. (we didn’t personally press charges, but every store she went to did. The business permanently dropped her as a customer & ended up gifting us 2 months of free service which was super sweet of them to do)

I just dealt with that last weekend. A group of Karen's were waiting for their food. And I guess their air conditioning wasn't working so they were all standing outside in the shade while their little dog was going crazy in the hot car. I was very polite about it and even asked if they needed a leash because I had an extra one in my car. They said no and finally let the dog out of the car and it was so well-behaved it didn't even need a leash so what the hell are they leaving it to bake in the car in the first place?!?

my mom had a karen episode at my orthodontist and it was so embarrassing. they recently bought another company so they have twice as many customers as they had for the first two years of me having braces and they're schedules are very tight. i had about four weeks left of having braces, but they couldn't get me in for an appointment for eleven weeks and my mom started yelling at the receptionists and just being really rude to them. karen parents make me cry sometimes

I work at a nursing home the best way to deal with a old person who is argumentative is to agree whole heartedly (they are never wrong and don’t tell them no) and once they are satisfied that they accomplished something wait change subject about them something nice about their outfit and thank them so much for their knowledge and while they leave just out of view just keep on doing what your doing once they go on about their way it works 9/10 times with and without mental disabilities they just want to be heard and acknowledged but once out of view they feel like they done something great and you just keep on doing what you were doing 😂

I had the "I am the manager" moment myself as a supervisor, can't remember the exact situation (had a lot there) but basically the person did the "I want to speak to your supervisor" and I just went "i am the supervisor" and smiled. It was a glorious moment 😂 when they lost it my manager then appeared and banned them from the shop lol!

My aunt works in a huge grocery store, in the bakery, and at one point during the summer, someone had left their dog in the car, so what they did, was over the PA system announced "Whoever has left their dog in their car in the parking lot, you have 15 minutes to come get the dog, or we will break the window and get the dog ourselves" because they do allow pets in the store (with limits ofc).

Whenever I sense a 'Karen or Ken' situation unfolding I just walk in between the two people saying "Excuse me." with my phone in hand as if I'm talking to someone. It's like stopping the cat fight before it starts. The one and only time a Karen had the audacity to freak out, it happened to be at my bestie, while I was in the passenger seat in absolute agony after a procedure. My bestie is not a confrontation person, unlike me, and the conversation went something like this. *Karen tries to pass a delivery truck by driving into ONCOMING TRAFFIC hoping we will stop and back up to let her pass* Me: "Block that b!tch from being a dumb piece of shit." My bestie: *drives like normal until she blocks the Karen from fully moving into the oncoming lane of traffic* Karen: *rolls down her window and proceeds to yell at my bestie a bunch of not nice words telling her to move* My Bestie: "Do you realize how unsafe it is to f**king pass into oncoming traffic because you're too impatient to wait for the UPS delivery person to come back?" Karen: *gaps as if slapped in the face and proceeds to curse my bestie out and spit on my car that my bestie is driving* My bestie: *starts cursing her out* Me: "LADY I WILL EAT YOUR F**CKING SOUL FOR DINNER I JUST HAD A UTERINE FIBROID EMBOLIZATION AND I'M IN A LOT OF F**CKING PAIN. DON'T, F**K WITH ME OR SPIT ON MY CAR. I WILL GET OUT OF THIS CAR AND BLEED ALL OVER YOUR VEHICLE FROM MY VAGINA!" Karen and bestie: *Karen stops, reverses and sits there pouting* *My bestie looks at me and bursts out laughing* We proceed to drive back to my place where I can curl up in pain and be left the heck alone. I think I channel enough psychotic energy that I have never encountered a Karen again.

I am so happy that i found you almost 2-3 years after you started makin vidoes because theres always some i havent seen and i find them when im at my lowest, or when im severly down, being pregnant has amplified alot of my emotions too, and some of the intros and outros to your videos GENUINELY keep me okay and pushing on. ps. never thought id be one of these ppl who comment on videos but i wanted you or someone else to know how much you and kris and a few other pods and youtubers have helped me keep going when im completely alone.

One time I was sitting in my car with my dog and some chick tried to break the dog out. It was like 60F and the windows were partly down. I shrug and open the door to let her out. She's sitting on her cooling pad bed, with water, snacks, chew toys, and a fan giving us the side eye. In Husky English she said "no" and went back to napping. Spoiled rescue dogs are a different kind of loyal.

"Karen don't get paid enough to do her job." She wasn't being a Karen. She wasn't being rude to the customer either. She was explaining in a normal volume of voice that she couldn't give cash refunds and the customer was making comments about the whole "payment" thing and "go find another job". It's not that simple, and honestly it's likely she may have been working there since the pandemic since it was a job that would allow for an income while furloughed from her previous as a non-priority based job. I don't know the background, but seriously she sounded fed up and tired of that customer's shit, and we don't have the whole story. She also said "do not come back, we will trespass you." Clearly meaning the customer has done something bad enough to warrant that. There's a group of teenagers in my town who are banned from basically every fast food joint for being loud, starting fights amongst each other, swearing and disrupting other customers and for targetting employees for just working in fast food. Fast food employees really don't get paid enough to deal with this shit, and they get it on the regular because people seem to think you only work for fast food as a teenager or because you have no education worthy of a "proper" job, and so you are beneath them.
