Okay, one question. Why would you include the length of the stock when measuring the barrel length? Especially if you are legally not allowed to have a stock on the gun before your SBR forms and tax stamp are approved

I thought the same thing annoying isn’t it! You can guesstimate and if you’re off let the ATF know later so l have read. A better way is to read the specs on the stock you want to get and minus off the length of the end-cap. That should get you close.

Also that measurement is not for the barrel length, it is for the overall length or OAL. Its a separate measurement you need to include in the application.
