In P3 & P4, If you see characters getting kicked out of the dust cloud during the AoA, then it signifies that the AoA failed to kill at least one enemy in the encounter.

Cancel the all out attack and use the magaru again to make them dizzy, if you don't have advantage going against a really strong enemy, you usually don't want to risk them getting any moves in

This is why when dealing with enemies that are "strong", I don't do an all out attack and make sure the shadows are dizzy. After that, my party goes Uncle Ruckus performing an exorcism with his whip and whatever the people in the room can find to beat their ass!

lmao someone actually called this situations a smt bullsh*t. Like when you're winning and then a random hama or mudo kills mc. Or in this video, is a killing aoe with crit 1 more. For me P3 was the hardest among the 3 persona games(yea not including the og first 3) with P5 being the easiest (probably because you can overlevel very very easily). I replayed P3p p4g and p5r on switch and it's kinda hard to overlevel on p3p. Been playing for 15hrs with Exp boost setting and still find some enemies tough as opposed to p4g and p5r where in 5hrs I became Godlike.

yes. in p3 (og, fes and port) you have to do a bit of exp farm to NOT be underleveled in the first half of the game or so. i didn't start seeing fearful shadows in tartarus until late game each time i played.

Bruh, is this some NG+ difficulty? I mean, you definitely died because you played stupid, but I’ve never experienced that kind of wipe before. And this is my first playthrough, which happens to be in Maniac Difficulty. So seriously… Is this a hidden difficulty?
