Traveling between Breuil Cervinia - Zermatt turned out to be an epic adventure! After staying 5 nights on the Italian side of the Matterhorn, it’s time to return to Zermatt, Switzerland. First, riding a series of gondolas to Testa Grigia/ Plateau Rosa where the Swiss - Italy border sits, then the real adventure begins! I walked along the ski slope on the high-altitude glacier, all uphill to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise (Klein Matterhorn) since the new gondola stopped operating until the Spring. From Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, a series of gondolas took me through Trockener Steg, Schwarzee, and finally to Zermatt. It was quite a journey along the Matterhorn! It was snowing in Zermatt.
