G'day everyone! BelleAim here and today we continue act 3 with some utter failure XD but then we get back on track and revisit the Tower of Time and begin the Trials from Trial Isle. We also help out a man in Lonalulu find a crystal lily along the way!
Note: I am again kinda lost until around the 0:35:52 mark... so skip there if you just want to jump straight into the story :D

Cliffhanger You can repeat the trial levels later (including boss). You’ll probably have to for more orichalcum, cumulonimbough, etc for forging. Don’t forget you can check how many treasures remain in an area. And you can check in the menu where to find items you’ve found before. A lot of the cities have new stuff. So you may wish to intersperse side quests between the trials. I can’t recall exactly the expected levels each time. I believe you can zoom to trial isle. I interpreted Serenica ‘dying’ & turning into the timekeeper as a result of her using the Sword on the time sphere while not being the Luminary as only the Luminary was supposed to.

A general rule of act 3 is go back and double check the various regions in the game. Especially if there were greatly impacted by Mordegon's rise to power after the end of act 1. Since you've gone back in time and stopped Mordegon before he could get started things will be different. Of course you've already made some progress with act 3 in the past so I'd recommended taking brief glances at your vods to narrow down which places you'd need to revisit still. Ah trial isle and Drustans's trials. This is more in line with past Dragon Quest post games. Find the post game area, find new gear and beat some bosses. Though unlike prior Dragon Quest post games this is meant to get you ready for Calasmos.

the music at 42:44 btw. is called "Heavenly Flight", like a number of the tunes in the game, it's originally from older games, Dragon Quest 3 in particular, and is most heavily associated with Ramia, or, as she is known in 8, Empyrea, the Great Godbird. Too bad DQ 8 is basically unavailable nowadays. I still have the original PS2 version, but otherwise... Would've been neat to see it here. If I had to compare 8 and 11, i'd say 11 is the more epic "classic fantasy" adventure, while 8 (Journey of the Cursed King) is the grander journey.

Goodness, the length and amount of editing in this one! By the time I reached Drustan's labyrinth I was nearly at max level 99 and barely needed it, so I don't know any useful tips here. 3:57 So it's simply called "whiting" in english?! We call it "hvitting" in norwegian. "White" = "Hvit/hvitt". The "hv"-sound is pronounced kinda like an english "w". it's a real life fish, of which I have caught and eaten many in my day. :-)

Wow! You noticed!! Yeah... the footage for this one was over 3 hours lol. It took a long time to edit too, but I'm happy you don't have to watch me be lost for a long time XD I've actually never heard of the "whiting" fish before so hopefully I pronounced it right. That's so cool that you actually know of that fish and have even caught/eaten it before! Thanks for sharing :D
