G'day everyone! BelleAim here and today we continue act 3!!! We pick up and finish the side quest, The Legendary Treasure of Legend, and continue the story of searching for the seedlings. You handled it extremely well, jumping back into a game after a long break. I always find it so difficult I rather just start over from the beginning. 57:42 This entire part with Morcant the Seer blew my mind back when I played this myself. Like, the entire game holds together, it's all connected. And I think it's hilarious how you immediately jump to the worst possible conclusions in your head! :-D

Thank you so much! I restart games I've taken a break on all the time... but this one is way too big for me to do that quickly so I just had to jump in. Plus I'm so motivated to see what happens next lol. It made me think of jumping into a cold pool or something, I didn't feel ready but just had to go all in! Yes! The Morcant seer blew me away too! And yeah.... my theories are quite something lol

i´m so happy to see you back playing this game it is one of my favorites of all time. After finishing Mordegon the first time I thought it was over and didn´t new that there is much more to come and all the reveals keeped me speachless, happy to see your reaction to all this now ^-^

If you want a chance to find all possible side quests in Act 3, I would recommend going to see Queen Marina again.

one of my favorite most subtle hints to the truth about Mordegon is the fact that you can actually see Morcant's staff as early as the Act 2 flashbacks, and it is in fact the exact same staff you've seen Mordegon and no one else carry around. Not claiming I caught that, but someone could and that's dope. The Seer reveal completely floored me though.

I noticed it super late... when I first saw Mocant's statue on the Watchers Island lol. The details are just amazing!

Glad to see a return of this series! … I guess I need to finish my own run. Morcant and Mordegon’s names were too close to be a coincidence. It’s cool this episode explains why Mordegon wanted to wield the sword of light - to destroy Erdwin’s lantern / Calasmos’ body, the (erroneously) last opposition to his power.

@@BelleAim I think I’ve done most of the side quests and special dungeon (with important gear and ending option). But still have the last of the battle trials - can’t recall the name. Playing on strong monster mode, so maybe that’s why the trials were taking a little longer to get all the rewards. I can’t recall if you’ve done the dance quest yet. Could be a good challenge unless done later with higher levels (The “no shops” mode would make for an interesting replay if I’m for it after this run. But DQ8 is such a great game to replay as well…)
