most reasonable Notre Dame fan. it’s also why when Kentucky beat Louisville out of the playoffs last year, everyone was calling it a colossal upset when they went through a much tougher schedule than Louisville did, playing Georgia and Alabama in the same year

@@GoatedAtNFSthey didn’t knock UL out of the playoffs. UL even at 11-1 would’ve been ranked like #9 at best going into a game vs FSU where they couldn’t even beat us with a 3rd string, hurt, freshman QB. Plus if they shanked a 13-0 FSU team ranked #4 at the time of the game, they weren’t gonna jump a 12-1 UL team from like 9 to 4 from beating a fsu team with no qb

Conference games are goin gto be good for rating/ placing the playoff seats. Most times, losers of conference games will still be in the playoffs. With no divisions you have the top two teams in the conference. Do you really see putting the third place conference team to go it over number 2 just because they lost to number 1? If not just put all three or more in

You do realize only 8 teams are in conference championship games. So at least 4 teams will get in without playing a conference game. So whats the point? Great, a bye week. If you don't play in the conference game...wait for it....that is a bye week

One can hope. Don’t think we are a legit natty contender this year unless the OL is like last year Michigan type of good BUT could still see 12-1 or 11-2 ACC champ and win a playoff game or so.

I’m calling it 8-4 at best with a dukes mayo bowl bid for the cry baby “revenge” tour but then again yall play in a weak conference so 10-2 is possible but unlikely

@@mysticsopath6075 we will probably play 3 top 15 teams + a SMU team that’ll be top 25ish all year + a Memphis team that’ll probably win the AAC and finish ranked. Then there’s the match up with UF who might have a bad record when we play but will be better than their record. Like they could be 4-7 but as good as most 7 win teams

It's like all the sports reporters lost their memories when Texas moved to the SEC. If I recall Texas is about doing less with more time after time. Especially after the reporters start drinking the "Texas is back" koolaid.

With Ohio State and Oregon possibly going undefeated before they meet (the REAL #1 and #2 meeting), there is NO way in hell Texas will ever be ranked that high, especially after that week 2 loss! Everyone is doubting Michigan just like y’all did when we rolled into Tuscaloosa last year…same result afterward, bank on it 🤘🏼🤨🤘🏼

False, because we’re not talking about the loser of 2-3 games still making it…you’re competing against EVERY conference! 5 champions are making it, followed by 2-3 teams going 11-1 or 10-2, and maybe a 9-3 teams squeaks in…so with ALL these games, maybe 1-2 on the losing end get in!

@@INOPUNKBISS24 oh sweetie, you're going to be really disappointed when the same top teams win the natty year after year. The expanded playoff makes it even harder to win it for TCU type teams. If a team was capable of beating 4 top 10 teams back to back to back, they would have been better off with the old playoff. Just because you had a 10-2 record doesn't mean your chances of winning the natty isn't zero, just like before.

Michigan was trash before Stalions.....they are trash after. The Michigan/OSU game means nothing this year because Michigan has no shot at the playoffs. OSU by 50 in that game. You should have highlighted the OSU/Oregon game. That's the far bigger game with playoff implications.
