Good to see you. You are right. This song's most prominent musical endeavor was the constant rhythm that Bilaal and Faisal developed. The rhythm is the most attractive attraction of this song. It sublimely compliments the song. Contrarily, B&F both had experimented musically with "Laal Meri" by QB.

Greetings from Pakistan. I must admit your reactions are so deep and knowledgeable that they touch the soul. I can only suggest yourself to increase the frequency of Coke studio reactions. Consider Rung from Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Amjad Sabri from Coke studio season 9, if you have not already done it. Yourself can also consider Dost by Abida Parveen from Coke Studio Season 7, which is quite a straight forward song but with beautiful lyrics. Will give more suggestions in due course of time. You were right about seriousness of the song. Both sufis understood that and so did the musicians and producers. The reason you are able to notice it is because of our unified indian tradition of music and Bhakti. 🙏🙏

Did u notice at 9:03 the chorus singers looked at Rahat Fateh Ali so passionately (admiring his alaap ) .... The paradigm of ur presentation should be at a level where your collaborators or co-artists feel proud of u . This is a lesson drawn from their performance.

I usually look out for Indian reaction channels and glad that I found yours. Speaking of the versions of Chaap Tilak, I don't know if you are aware of this, but Chaap Tilak was written by Amir Khusrau back in 14th Century. The lyrics used in the Coke Studio's version are the original lyrics taken from Khusrau's composition. All the other versions that you might have heard (mostly from bollywood) are the made up ones. Amazing reaction! This was actually the last rehearsal before the final recording, but the producers (Strings) were really happy with the rehearsal so decided to publish it.

Thank you for noticing that he is sweating. I almost felt that Abida Ji was at a different level and Rahat was struggling to catch up and a lot of it is because of her spirituality. The notes she executed with ease had Rahat struggling. Could also be my bias as I am a bigger fan of Nusrat. If you want to see the impact of her spirituality see two videos 1- The BTS of Jhoom when Xulfi is left speechless 2- Main Sufi Hoon when Ustad Raes Khan and the drummer cant stop smiling at her sur

Go for the "Yaad" by Javed Bashir, Ambwa Taly by Humera Channa & Javed Bashir, Phool Banro by Humera Channa & Sahbzada Abbas Ali khan, Rone na diya by Sajjad Ali & his daughter Zaw Ali, Siyyoun ni by Rahat Fateh Ali, Dr Salman & Noori, Man Amah deyam by Atif Aslam & Gul Panrah, Ay dil Kisi ki yad me by Ali Zafar & sarah haider, Uddi Ja by Mohsin abbas Haider, Bewajah by Nabeel Shoukat Ali, Aaja re More Siyyan by Zaib Bangash. in the live versions of the coke studio they turn of the AC due to the humming sound of the AC also gets captured into the high precision mics and for that reason they are sweating like that!

Your understanding about music is really appreciatable, doubtless it is the best ever written by Abu'l Hasan Yamin ud-din Khusrau and totality of Kalam(song) belongs to devotion of his master/Guider Hazrat Nizam-ud-din Aulia who taught him Islamic idealism and love with God,, Amir was chief disciples of Hazrat Nizam-ud-din-Aulia. furthermore it is beautifully done by Abida Parveen & Rahat Fateh Ali khan and this kalam is full of spirituality.

This wasn't even final take, this was final rehearsal but it was lit so producers decided to go with this. And yes almost every sufi kalma is about Creator. Different writers describe Creator in there own way, and people now thinks that these lines are about a worldly loved one which is not correct.. Sufis devote themselves only for creator and write only about Creator mostly.
