As far as style, skills, and attributes, Chandler could be his toughest matchup. Only problem is his fight IQ. From some of the things he's said, it sounds like he may have learned that lesson while prepping for Conor, though. His fight IQ outside the cage is very good, but he gets caught up wanting to please the crowd and does dumb stuff that lose him the fight. The discipline to ignore his desire to be a great entertainer is all he needs. And, as Chael said, I've never seen him be broken. Who else has tried slamming Charles to get out of his rnc? Even after Chandler successfully did it, Dustin and Justin didn't even try

@@LarryMayvid Fair enough on round one. I would say he was having success in the grappling in the second round. Tsarukyan got suspended for swinging at a fan and Oliveira just lost. I would prefer Gamrot over the available options.

It makes no sense at all for chandler to fight for the belt. Id like to see it just because hes so explosive and is one of the few guys who has any chance at all to beat Islam but thats crazy getting a title fight coming from a loss and wirh a 2-3 record

Conor is what 36 years old soon? Hasnt beaten a single game opponent since 2017?......LoL its incredible what people tell themselves just to see the past come to life again😂 Im no different. I just watched the khabib Conor fight again. That fight was way more competitive than i ever realized. Conor was an incredible athlete and for a guy with no wrestling background he was a natural. I was saying to myself after watching that fight, this is conor at about 75% of his prime and he gave Khabib all that. I am almost sure if Conor faced Khabib before the floyd fight he could have won i have almost no doubt about it. However Conor now is almost guaranteed to be just a pipe dream. We all want to witness that magic again but its impossible. All the little things that made Conor so special, the reflexes, the precision shots, the speed, they are all things that get lost to inactivity and time. Conor mentally knows its over thats why he pulled out. He knows. The only thing left is Conor trying to convince himself he still has something left.
