I wanted to know if this muffler design would improve performance on a stock husky 372xp . So I cut with a stock muffler then swapped it out and cut again / jaymz03ss

2nd gen trucker here, loving the "keep on trucking" hat. I image truckers like slashers/ fallers/ bucker all have amazing stories of victory, as well as loss. A common thread I see on your channel, is the push for excellence, sometimes seen as crazy due to the family at home hungry or in need, maybe the brother next to you is just trying to get home. There truely is a quality of life those who have not breathed in Sawdust or Diesel fumes, skipped a night or 20 of sleep, to provide for those they loves, will ever know. Godspeed my good man.

Thank you very much Buckin you help give me the drive to fix my own chainsaw I put a new carb on my poulan 38cc and I and absolutely tickled. It runs decently also purchased a cheep 3.5 lb hunk of steal on a stick honed it and took a draw plain to the thick handle & split two cords of wood and kept our house at 70 degrees during the big Texas freeze!

I am a firm believer in porting a good saw. There are some very creative individuals out there making some awesome stuff. Just dual ported my 066 the other day after nearly 20yrs of use and cried that I hadn't done it sooner!
@williamnicholson18532 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by dual ported? On the exhaust or the cylinder?
@raymundbrown26442 жыл бұрын
@@williamnicholson1853 the exhaust, it provides for faster evacuation. The 066 is quite capable of much more than factory exhausts allow.

This is a testament as to how good the 372 is even stock. It already had the better stock muffler, and then this bolt on upgrade made it all the better. The most noticeable part is how much more bottom it has when it breathes better.

Man, I’m subscribing to your channel buddy. You’re just to much of a personality to pass up. Recently started getting into these chainsaw videos snd that whole community and I love it. Just men doing men things talking about man things. Working hard to provide. I’m no logger, my step dad was when I was young. So I’ve always loved chainsaws. I did a tiny bit of logging and worked on a small sawmill when I was young. Firewood half my life. Grew up that way. I’m an exploration Diamond driller in the mining industry. I’ve been in a lot of industries, that’s just my main gig. Lots of oilfield work. Dozer operator, well most pieces of equipment but that one I prefer. Trucking in the oil field. Farm raised and I’ve pretty much done every job my step dad did now that I think of it. From Canada. Hope I fit in your community of hard working men on this channel. Billy, you’re very good at doing what you do. You’re exciting to watch and hilarious when you wanna be. I seen one where you mentioned battling addiction in the past and clearly won that battle. I too have gone through it so I relate to ya brother. Now, going to go out and buy me a bran spanking new husky 592xp ported and piped just because. Don’t need it, I just want it haha.

I have the same saw up here, bought it new in Jan 2019. Its my first large saw I've owned, and I love it! I am simply cutting firewood here, but sadly have no mentor to help coach me along. Have taken Entry level falling course ( limbing and bucking), prior to buying the saw. I've run it for a while now, and maintaining it as best i can. When it comes to tuning the high and low jets, is it beneficial for a guy to get a tachometer to get your jets sets? Bear in mind, I haven't got an ear to hear all the finer points of tuning. i have a good computer monitor, but sadly, lousy speakers! LOL! Thanks for the video good sir! Love to all!
