I think just a kick clause in contracts could work. If the team goes to the org and says they want to replace their 3rd, the clause opens. If the kicked teammate is left with like 48 or 72 hours until the roster lock, then that player would just be paid a percentage of their salary for the next split in one payment. If the player wants to leave and look for other teams, the clause is not valid, as it was initiated by the individual player. If they want to leave and don't find a team, that's on them. This way, it can't really be abused and the orgs would push for trades to be made in a timely manner.

They talk about a "friendship league" in other esports where players just team with their mates rather than better players/teammates etc. may be the same with Oxygen. As a fan, it always felt that Oaly was a stop-gap filler for the Archie/Joreuz duo until a Rise/Joyo/Kash etc. became available. FaZe may be the same as I'm sure Firstkiller would love one of Daniel/Beastmode to team with him and Mist to form another superteam (on paper). As for Winter LAN predictions: EU - KC, OXG, BDS, TL, Moist (VIT very close) NA - Gen.G, FaZe, SSG, G2, Furia. SAM - NiP, Secret APAC - James Cheese OCE - PWR, KCP (GZ very close) MENA - RuleOne (just edging out Falcons)

"Third man" is pretty outdated. But there's lots of teams who send 2 forward and 1 sits back further. Even Geng has Noly sitting back WAY more than Cronic or Appjack did.

Comm is better than Torment as an all-rounder, but Torment is unmatched defensively. He's in the same rare league as people like Vatira in that specific ability. He doesn't have the same offensive power of course, but who cares if you've got Beastmode & Rise?! Move makes sense to me, even if it didn't happen

As good as Oxygen are on paper with Rise, I don’t think they will have the level of maturity or a good enough mentality to become a truly dominant team.
