Leeds will most likely be in the Final with Southampton but it'll be fun if Norwich or West Brom sneak into the Final or even play each other in the Finals anything can happen in the Championship its so unpredictable we already have an example of Ipswich who would've thought that they'll secure back to back promotions from League One to EPL

No one is actually in great form! Usually there’s at least one team that has come in to the playoffs flying, but that’s not the case this year. Leeds have been the best team out the 4 all season, most people’s money will be on them

I can't see Leeds doing it now, personally. They seem to have hit a bad patch at the wrong time, but of course you never know.

What about Preston? Play off's have been their downfall whereas their neighbours up the coast revel in them, god knows why, I don't. Personally can't bear to watch any of it, too painful

Leeds have the best players but any of them can win it. Southampton have done doubles over West Brom and Leeds so that has to give them that extra belief.

I am amazed by the must play it out from the back attitude championship teamsand all below have adopted, I have seen more goals conceded by this obsession than ever. The likes of top world class teams can do it due too their skill level. Even school teams are trained to do it, it’s totally not the way with a lower skill level.

There should be no play offs. Leeds finished 3rd on merit over 46 games and proved over a season they were the 3rd best team in the league. They should not have to play a play off to earn the right for promotion. The team who finished 6th and 17 points behind them could be the ones who get promoted. It's a joke. I'm not a Leeds fans. I just don't support the play off system.

I hope it is the team that finished 3rd. The teams who finished 5th and 6th have been miles behind for the last 6 months. What is the point in going into the PL after finishing 15 to 20 points off third place, only to get lots of hammerings and struggle in the fight for 17th place next May?

Every team struggles when they go up, you’re playing the best teams in the country. Just because you finish 4th 5th or 6th you don’t have a right to go up? Thats what the playoffs are about. What a stupid thing to say 🤣

I am saying that the teams who, after 46 games, are still 15 points adrift of third place, are simply not good enough to make the Championship top 3, so will not be good enough to compete in the Premier League. I preferred the old system of the most consistent 3 teams over the season being the 3 that gain promotion, as opposed to a team that have been ordinary all season, sneaking into the top 6 with a late rally and then getting lucky in 3 play off games. The three teams that were promoted to the PL last season have just been relegated with barely a whimper and still one game to go.

@@mitch0078 The fact that Burnley and Sheffield United have been so poor and in the bottom 3 all season, hardly nullifies my point. Obviously, with enough investment, even a team that wins the play offs after scraping into the top 6, could compete (in theory) after promotion. The reality is that most Championship teams just don't have the resources to compete in the Premier League and the gap seems to be widening. Hence the number of clubs who yo-yo between the divisions. To me, that is all the more reason to have the best 3 teams gain promotion.

The whole point of the playoffs is to keep the league competitive to the last game which is exactly what it’s done this season. Playoffs are brilliant and I love them 😁

I hope anyone but Leeds please, making it through the playoffs. Leeds fans are absolutely the most obnoxious and unbearable fans ever. It has been lovely in the Premier League this season without having to listen to their drivel, after they were relegated last season. Here's to many more seasons like that. 😂😂

@@paulgray7014 Gabby is Gabby, he doesn't speak for all Villans. But you gotta admit Leeds fans were soooo obnoxious all last season. I started the season welcoming Leeds back and looking forwards to another great well-respected traditional club returning back to the top flight yet again. But then this new current generation of Leeds fans turned out to be just intolerably awful. From memory, Leeds fans never used to be like that back in the early days of the Prem when they were regulars in the league. I never realised just how toxic many Leeds fans (especially the younger generation) had become over the years. If Leeds do make it back, I hope they are slightly more humble and bearable this time around.

Southampton have got the best team and squad but are hampered by the style of play Leeds have got enough individual quality but have hit a big loss in form Can’t see either getting promoted, think it will be a Norwich v Southampton final with Norwich winning

So basically, sky are launching a new football channel for you to subscribe to. How many is that now ? You'll still have to sit through interminable ads every time you watch a match. I wonder if the new channel will address the scrapping of FA Cup replays whilst at the same time enlarging the European and World Cup competitions ?

WBA will win promotion. Maths says 5th place has highest probability of winning promotikn at wembley & they have huge good luck karma since a nice bew owner took over in early 2024. All injured key players are back fit & in form. Albion winning at wembley in avout 2 weeks.

The three promoted teams combined have won a staggering 14 out of 111 matches this season whilst scoring a combined 125 goals and conceding 258. And there is still one round of matches to go.

For my money West Brom are the weakest of the four sides. However, any one of them could definitely go all the way in the playoffs. It’s a tough one to call.

Norwich are poor, but Southampton is a bad match up for WBA, so it’ll probably end up as Leeds vs Saints final tbh. But like you say, it’s tough to call, the championship is the craziest league in the world! Any one of these teams could go up

Rather, the owner does not invest more in the team for fear of being relegated. There is a risk. And relegation is unfavorable as it hurts the club's value and popularity. Also, the teams that are going to be relegated anyway have no motivation and nointention of winning. Defeat on purpose (e.g. Sheffield , Almeria, Salernitana) They gave up on the season and are being relegated.They say there is a relegation system, why is there FFP? If you don't spend money, your team will become weak and get demoted. Why can't you spend money?
