I went back to check the previous episode and Stevanovic was on 6k a week until 2027, so unless he had a promotion extension that's probably a bug lol

In older videos he has 6 bonuses and 1 clause on his contract (on this one he loses that clause and keeps the 6 bonuses) and he starts this video worth less than £1m so I assume the clause was a 3 year contract extension upon promotion but I can't be entirely sure because I've spent ages looking at older videos and not once does Kev show his contract page.

There are multiple great FM youtubers to watch! Lollujo (Kevin), Workthespace (Jack), DoctorBenjy (Ben) all do long term series and are all entertaining. Zealand is an American FM YT who streams their save on twitch and uses their YT channel as a football/FM educational and meme channel. If you want to learn the intricate complexities of FM (such as how wingbacks and midfield roles work together) then bustthenet is AMAZING for that

Love the diversity in this game. In my save, second season with Burton and in the championship in 24:25, Rekeem Harper is a star for me having 12 goals and 8 assists from Mezzala

Unless Kevin finds a strong (or any) Assistant Manager I predict a mutiny by halftime of the first game as Kevin bottles the half time talk so badly that the team refuses to take the pitch for the second half! :D

Regarding the Work Permit, the player keeps the original work permit given if the contract is not renewed. So he has a work permit because of the one that was given when he first signed the contract, but would not get a new one with the rules in place now. But the work permit will not get revoked halfway through the contract. The ESC is just an override if the player does not qualify for a work permit. Every season it gets reevaluated and if a player in the ESC slot now qualifies, it gets the work permit via rules instead of override, thus releasing the ESC slot for another player. So you could not renew the contract because the player would not qualify for a work permit, but the player would still keep the original work permit (until the end of the contract). Once the ESC slot was available, you were able to override the work permit decision.

You’ve got to love fm when it comes to contracts and works permits. It’s the same when selling. I promised to sell a player and a club come in for him but couldn’t get a work permit so cancelled and the player was then unhappy with me for breaking my promise. Obviously couldn’t explain that so had say offer was enough.

I signed Miles Leaburn for Peterborough in league one after Clarke Harris went to Sunderland.... he got me to the championship then scored enough for a mid table finish! Second season in Championship i finished second he scored 31! A beast from set pieces!! Struggled in the prem after making a good start of 7 goals in 6 games then no goals in the next 16 games! Ended up selling him for £14-16 million

Very optimistic to think a 25yo Bajic is going to get better while sitting on the bench. By signing Ward you basically condemned him to stall his development until Ward drops off far enough that Bajic is better. Imo, since the difference in quality between Bajic and Ward doesn't seem that big, you would've been better off just starting Bajic.

God I would love to.get my hands on a copy of fm 24.. After the year I've had with my sons mother and the way she has destroyed me I just want to get stuck in to football manager once my new pc comes, thanks to my amazing mum and dad they got me a new pc to pick my sprit up. But I can't afford fm 24 right now, so I come to watch fm instead. This year has been the worst and worst Christmas I've had in years.

I don't think si check the team and player mechanics enough in testing. There have been illogical issues like the Stefanovic issue ever since it was added to the game.

I always thought overall ticket money goes down because more people buy season tickets so you get more upfront but less over time

I think it has to do with the ticket sales in the FA cup, he had a few big games last season, so his income from ticket sales was higher than expected based on his stadium & ticket prices

I don't like the squad planner, I just know my team. Know where it weak. If I forget I simply press Squad = reports which work perfectly fine. 'Squad planner' seems very cumbersome and pointless.
