Hi friends!
The time has finally come to talk about the new Chanel fall collections. We have the Byzance 4 shadow palettes and the Equinoxe collection. I got Venitienne and Cristal from Byzance, I know that a lot of people think the packaging looks cheap but I disagree completely, I think it’s just beautiful and love that you can’t see the dust all over it 😆 I am deciding on which pieces from fall that I would like as it’s only just come out here yesterday. I really want to try the eyeshadows but feel it might be a waste for me 🤔 I have however purchased one of the 31 lipsticks which I’m excited for ☺️

I traveled to visit the Canadian fam on early August and picked up the Byzance Parure Baroque. I mix it with Tisse Vendome for an every day look , so far it works. Beautiful look by the way

We have had the Byzance collection for a couple of weeks in Australia. It’s so beautiful I had to get the 2 lighter eye palettes & love them both. We have just gotten the loose powder eye shadows & the blushes. I ordered sycamore in the loose pigment & the rose blush 👏🏻 Thank you Alison can’t wait to see more of these makeup releases from you ❤

Great look and sonority. Well done. I bought exactly what you are showing us plus I threw in 404 and 412 shadows as well. Another way my Chanel rep told me to use the powder shadows is after you pull the wand out put it in slightly snd tub it in circles around the mouth to remove excess. Have not tried it yet. I also have the same samples as you got. Omg that powder one is so cute. I also received the cushion sample too in a tiny pot with a mini puff sponge. Please use the sublimate samples on camera so we can see in action how you use it. Beautiful look.❤

I'm very fair, neutral to warm, and unfortunately the mauve blush looked muddy bruisey on me. I love the coral one though, a fall coral as opposed to the Fleur de Printemps Blush Highlighter Duo. Of the loose shadows I got 402 and 408 and love both, no application problems for me either. I use a technique like yours but using the back of my hand. I think directly applying to eyes with the applicator is where many people are having problems. Byzance 328 Parure Cristal I wear by itself without adding any of the loose shadows and absolutely love it, one of my favorite Chanel quads of all time.

I totally agree with you! I think if you want to apply the wand applicator directly, you have to knock off a lot of product before using it.

Honest to gosh, I wasn’t even interested in either of these collections, but that eye look is stunning!! I think I may try the loose eyeshadows and this palette now. The fall nail polishes are pretty, too. 🍁🍂 I’d love to get your take on the new powder foundation-wear test, etc.! Okay…I’m off to watch your next video now! I adore the loose pigment eyeshadows. Dab the doe foot on the back of your hand, pick it up with a brush - and boom. Done. Gorgeous. Thank you for the helpful and inspiring video - as always!

@@AllisonChase I have the green CDP pallet I do love it . I plan on getting atleast 2 more neutral ones after this purple one. I am getting them slowly at 110$ 🤣 I don't know why I grab the TF faster and it really isn't that much less then the CDP . I wanted that purple one forever but Everytime I went to buy it sold out of course so I went on CDP yesterday and it was there so I grabbed it.

You do great colour combos! I purchased the Venettien 318 quad. I like the gold detail of the palette. Something different. I love the green topper of the palette. This palette is lovely too but I couldn’t justify purchasing both. I have a similar blue topper in a Pat Mcgrath palette. Hugs

J'adore 😍 A priori, au moins ici en France, la collection Equinoxe est trouvable partout (Sephora....) alors que la collection Byzance ne se trouve que dans les boutiques Chanel ou sur le site internet. Je n'ai encore rien acheté, mais je vais aller à la mi-septembre en boutique Chanel...donc toutes les vidéos seront utiles pour m'aider dans mon futur choix. 😊

Your makeup looks beautiful. I’d love to see you do a total Chanel skin care video. Also, when do you apply sunscreen? I never see you use it. I find it difficult to find a sunscreen that works well with makeup without pilling. It’s my constant battle. I must wear sunscreen as I’ve already had melanoma.

I apply my sunscreen after moisturizer (off camera) and before makeup application. The Clé de Peau sunscreen I use is amazing, it melts into the skin like a gel moisturizer.

I bought #328 Parure Cristal and was disappointed in how lightly pigmented the shadows are. I found they needed a lot of blending and re-application to show up on the eye. I will try your technique of adding hydration to increase the pigmentation. The powder shadows are a pass for me, but look lovely on you.

Knowing me. I would love a review on the samples. Their samples are so nice !!! I love the blush colors. But the powder shadows. No I mean that nub won’t get out product towards a couple uses. It’s a mess and fall out all over. Even being careful I’m not being negative at all. But your look. Yes. The eye colors are pretty. But it’s too fussy
