Takes me back to place in time that unless you were fortunate enough to have lived thru you'll never understand..cruising Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons interacting with people not texting..we who lived it were blessed..a wonderful time.

Wow, I remember this classic because I was living in Texas at the time. This hit was before Luther went solo, two years later. The man was destined for many beautiful million seller songs, as a solo artist.

I was a young kid in living in Barbados back in the 80's from the UK,and believe you me, The radio stations in Bardados played this Jam everyday, I would have loved to be in NYC and older at that time. :-)

From the beginning i really love the bassline of this song. No other music have this . Until now.

I was not a great dancer. But I had moments when I could really get my lanky frame into it. This cut always opened up an opportunity for me to groove. Always was happy to dance to this with a really sweat lady in front of me.

This always has been and always will be my cut.

It's nice to hear a song about optimism again. I don't see how people can listen to one song after another bragging about money and materialism.

This song reminds me of a close friend back at Scott AFB name Addie. We use to dance to this song until the would close down the Airmen's Club back in the early 1980's. I sure hope she see this post. I still miss you and will always love you.

This song reminds when I was stationed at Hahn AB, Germany and I use to frequent a club in Frankfurt called the "No Name." Those were great time.

One of my all time Favorites...This was the quiet Killer back in the day...Complete with a tight Groove and a magical melody that puts a smile in your heart. This Jam should have received more air play!

I was 12 when this song came out. That was in 1981.

Wish the sound quality was better. I have the 12' European cut of this on vinyl and the highs are amazing as well as the bass! This is OK, but I'm still looking for a post with better sound quality. Gotta turn the volume up a lot to really hear what makes this masterpiece so great. Have not found one entry, yet, that has great sound quality. Oh well, I'll do my own. Saw them at the Beacon Theatre in NYC decades ago and they ROCKED this! Still missing Luther Vandross who was part of Change until 1981 when he left and had an amazing solo career!
