so filters applied on the front visual will not be applied to back right? then if we have a buttons like annually monthly weekly daily then both the visuals should interact with the slicer right in this case it will be applicable to only one visual what about hidden visual can we filter the hidden visual based on the selection of the slicer on the main ?

Filters will interact with both the visuals, only you will have tooltip for the back visual.

You can't click on the chart that is behind the other chart though, right?

No you cant click and it will never come on top, because there is a setting "Maintain layer" enabled. you can test it after publishing your report to service. in Power BI desktop you won't be able to test it.

Can you add a third or fourth visual and switch between them without bookmarks?

Thanks for posting your comments, Yes you can add multiple visuals, all you need to do is to use transparent color unless its selection is not in the context. However it is not recommended to do this with many visuals and using Bookmarks is better way to get this for performance perspective.

Here you need to scarify with one visual interaction. At present there are no other workarounds present, which can be utilized to change visuals based on items selected from a column values.

Hi, How we can calculate max value as per month name without date, only month & year available in raw data and no date in any of data

You can convert the month year column to a proper date column from Power query editor, which can be useful for other calculations also. and you should use "End of Month" in your case.

So no tooltip on the visual in the back of the line chart? Basically I cannot see the tooltip because the line chart will be blocking it?

Yes, tooltip for at least one visual at the back will not appear

By this, we are losing the tooltip, drill-in and drill-through options for the chart which is present on the back. :). Not a great way to go with.

Good point! Tooltip & Drillthrough are amazing native features for the visuals for further details. however there are some instances where many people are looking for changing the visuals based on slicers. This is one of the solution to get this feature. and we can use this option if required unless we don't get such native options.

Thanks for the feedback. My only intention is not to kill the precious time of people, and stretch the length unnecessary. it can anyway be paused or reversed at any moment if needed. But i can understand that sometimes i should spend more time to explain the logic.
