well...i couldn't apply the same to my context...maybe i am doing something wrong.... I have a matrix in my power bi report where i need 4 buttons each button named Quarterly Report 1, 2, 3 and 4. So, when someone clicks Q1, he should get Q1 report...but, i followed the same steps and nothing happens when i click any of the buttons...pls help...

Refresh your bookmarks in each state. Noticed they bug out now and then when creating them. > right click the bookmark/click the dots and select “update”

Thats in Power BI desktop. When you publish the report to the PBI Service, just clicking the button will work.

Not with bookmarks. I’ve got a newer video to do with field parameters which can adjust the data / axis in your visuals based on a slicer. I’m assuming you could then sync the slicers. It wouldn’t change the visual type though.

@@Transformita no it was very helpful! when I change visuals with the button I lose my slicer selections... do you know how to fix that?

@@rachaelp5967 open the bookmark panel, select the bookmark and right click or click the 3 dots for more options and it will give you some options with tick marks. One of them I believe is data, That prevents slicers etc. being reset when you switch between bookmarks
