For a moment I thought you were going to hit the red part with the lump hammer. It would neither be surprising nor undeserved… but the one tool Milwaukee do make that’s decent is a drill.

Any trick for breaking loose stubborn set retainer screws inside? And any suggestions on where to get a good new chuck for the Milwaulkees?

Pretty sure they're reverse threaded so try turning it to the right to loosen.

Not bad at all 20-40 depending on where you buy and how fancy pants you want it to be. I’m sure you could spend more but I’ve used nice jacobs chucks every time and I’m pleased with the results.

you would be suprized, some people think its cheaper to buy a new drill than to replace a chuck.

Love those gen 2 fuel drills. Had one in my hand since 2014. I do not like the gen 3 or 4 drills in comparison. Gen 2 feels much higher quality

The Gen 3 and 4 drills perform so much better than the Gen 2. More speed and torque. It's not even close.

@El_Diablo_LI it is close. Iv used a gen 4 extensively... or I wouldn't know. The chuck on the Gen 2 drills suck. Mine has a gen 3. Thats the best thing about the new drills.

Let's put it this way here in the u.s.a. there 5-year warranty is great but most of the time when I send in tools for myself or others, there own technicians don't even repair/fix them, or Milwaukee doesn't want to pay for the parts & labor, probably cheaper to send out a new tool

@@wanenembirawhat Drew said above and all add the obvious as long as you’re within the time warranty is still valid. Usually around 3-5 years. I own several Milwaukee tools and it’s rare they actually need repair though.
