That's actually some interesting lore regarding lapras and the extinction Pokédex entry. A kid in Japan was really sad after reading the Pokédex entry and decided to just keeping breeding and then releasing lapras into the wild. This story reached game freak and they decided to say in Pokémon sun and moon that lapras was no longer under threat due to dedicated conservation programs.

For a type swap, I actually have a Smeargle idea that gives it a secondary Fairy typing and often paints fantastical and whimsical imagery for children. They're often partnered with daycare employees and babysitters to help take care of baby Pokemon and small children. For those who want a darker dex entry, they are highly sensitive empaths and when a child dies, it loses its drive to paint for quite a while.

Honestly I was expecting the fire Mewtwo to have a backstory based on Blaine, as the original mewtwo had some of his dna, and he is the fire type gym leader in gen 1

There is also mention of how the lab exploded, which was due to Mewtwo breaking out but still could be related. Maybe a new Mewtwo was being created and got a bit exposed to fire in the process.

If we're limiting ourselves to Gen 1, I'd like to see an Ice-type Arcanine since I feel Arcanine and Ninetails are more of the counterparts than Sandslash and Ninetails. Edit: Maybe Ice/Fighting, so it becomes a trio between the three, so it's a Fairy-Fighting-Steel trio, with a primary Ice type for all of them.

Lapras as a flying type immediately reminded me of when Lapras in Pokémon mystery dungeon flew you to temporal tower, lol. They all looked great, I also really loved the steel Haunter!

I imagined haunter as something that is like living mercury personally. For golem I imagined a statue of a graveyard. specifically the statue of someone who was brutally killed and the darkness of the murder brok the statue reformed it and fused it with dark energy. For lapras I imagined something about it moving on fog/clouds as so much of its water evaporated it became lighter than air. Lastly for mewtwo I imagined the chemicals pumped through mewtwos body as he was created burned his body inside and out as they tested his ability to rebuild himself as recover is a common move he has. Eventually he surpressed his flames long enough to make them think he died and when they went to check on his he let it all out and escaped with the flames now always on as his body adapted to the chemicals to the point that its body would produce it like blood.

Omg this video concept is good but the execution is BRILLIANT!! Even going the extra mile to animate a chibi game preview animation of each Pokémon is so well done! and the Pokédex entries to give them all real stories is such a classic Pokémon move where we feel them to be REAL characters with backstories and empathise with them- ugh I just CANT this is too good 😍😍

Wow this is amazing. I watch a lot of drawing and animation channels and they all do a Pokémon video, "Pokémon except _______". But this is the best one I've seen. Not only does your art style make it look like these designs could be in the actual show and the way you incorporate elements of certain types is so intuitive and well done, but you do so much extra: the backstory, the stats, the pokedex entry, you even make a sprite. That's like so much. I don't see other art youtubers do that when they do a video on pokemon. It's cool. Please make this a series!

I feel like MewTwo’s rage could have become so uncontainable that it’s blood boiled so hot, creating flames that could never be extinguished no matter what. Another cool detail with it is that it could never become friendly with a trainer

Honestly, Mewtwo looks more like a Normal type in its standard form than a Psychic type. Only its Y Megaevolution looks distinctly Psychic type.

My only complaint about it is that it only takes inspiration from 2 kanto fire types. It would have been cool to see him branch out more and add some rapidash and arcinaine parts in it

Gonna go through each one and go over weaknesses and resistances based on new typings. Starting off with Steel-type Haunter, it's likely it would retain it's Ghost typing and simply replace the original Poison secondary typing with Steel. Doing so would give it all the weaknesses, immunities, and resistances of Aegislash, with the exception of Levitate giving it immunity to Ground, leaving it neutral only to Water and Electric attacks, weak to Fire, Ghost, and Dark attacks, and resistant to literally everything else with immunities to Normal, Fighting, and Poison (Plus the aforementioned Ground). Needless to say: *Holy Shit* Edit 1: Dark Golem, much like it's Alolan variant, would probably be Rock/Dark-type, which means it would have the same type matchups as Tyranitar. Not the worst spread at all, though this boom boy better watch out for Fighting-types. Edit 2: Since Moxie specified making his Lapras Flying and Fairy, that means I don't need to think over secondary typings that could've carried over from previous evolutions or original versions. Flying/Fairy Lapras has the same type matchups as Togekiss, more neutral matchups than the last two, an immunity to Ground and Ghost, and purely regular weaknesses to five separate typings. Edit 3: Eh, I'm not really vibing with this Mewtwo design. Although Moxie took inspiration from multiple Gen 1 Fire-types, it still just ends up looking like Charizard, which I know is the idea more or less, but it just feels underwhelming after the really stellar designs in the rest of the video. As for typing, it's pure Fire, so same matchups as any Pure Fire-type. If you were to give it Psychic as a Primary and place Fire as a Secondary, then the same matchups as Delphox. Pyrokinesis and all that. Also, Hidden Ability Flame Body? This Mewtwo is gonna be hatching eggs left and right.

I really like your unique art style, it’s different to the other type swap/regional form art I’ve seen before. A type swap I’d like to see is a Dragon type Gigalith. I theorized my own but it’d be great to see another take on it

Here’s an idea-Mimikyu as a psychic type. Mimikyu is my favorite Pokémon and I love psychic types, so it would be cool to see a combination of the two.

For lapras' backstory I was think more of "when lapras die because of being constantly hunted, they accended and became angels, maintaining their physical body, but some of them are vengeful, so they gain the dark type and command haunters to kill the predators"

I picture a fire type Mewtwo an experiment that was almost destroyed in the fire the first Mewtwo left while destroying the lab in its escape. I think it would be a melted, deformed and incomplete version of it.

These designs are amazing. I've really enjoyed the randomiser nuzlockes so came here to see more of your cool designs. You probably already a type swapping video for fans but could I suggest that you draw the remaing types that don't have eevolutions: ghost, steel etc.
