What's going on everybody? This is D-Frank and I'm back again today with how to change the spark plugs in a Dodge Challenger 5.7 Hemi. The process will be the same for 392 Hemis as well.

Great video, but heads up ngk plugs come with anti seize on the threads from the factory and it is recommended to not put any extra on.

Notice the coolant level is a bit low in the expansion tank ? That means check your waterpump, they are super prone to failure and easy to re&re I did my waterpump and my radiator at just over 30k miles 🤦‍♂️

This weather has been crazy over the last week. Shortly after making this video I had to go into the Midwest and the weather there is crazier. Oh yes that’s the best deal I seen for them.

Three to four hundred dollars? My shop wanted $850.00 to change my plugs.

@@TheBlackScatPack They said the spark plugs cost 25 dollars each so that came to $400 just for parts. And then the labor was going to be $450 just to install them. I don't know if they were trying to rip me off or what. I ended up buying spark plugs from the Dodge dealership for $120 and had a friend help me install them.

for some reason alldata quotes 2.4 hours of labor for spark plug change on these, most shops are abput 150-180 per hour in labor, that's why they charge so much

How much times I bought spark plugs they were always said to be pregaped but I was always told to double check bc never want to trust someone else gapping them right. Then you got to do the job again.
